I think 1000 is awefully ambitious.

Already took 2 days to get to 10.

No mods will be able to stay out of here that long.

I recommend you move back to the count to 50 thread, you have a chance there.

"Counting" threads can be fun. But, in order for these to be fun there has to be some level of competition. I just dont see any contest in a thread that intends to reach 1000 before an admin posts. Clearly our users outnumber the admins here, but even on a good day we dont reach 1000 post on the whole board (Yet!). Trust me when I say that at least one of the ten admins would be checking this thread daily. It would only be a matter of when an admin posts before it would have to start over. Also, we maintain threads to a limit of approximately 1000 posts in order to keep the forum databases in order. The thread would likely be closed before it even reached 1000.

To the rest of the users that dont participate in these counting threads, they are just spam. So, we'll try to keep them to a minimum.

We want to have fun, but need to draw the line between fun and spam somewhere.
