Privateering: Spanish or french
 

Well I was wondering, what of the two sides are better. The spanish or the french. From what I have heard there do not seem to be any bonuses that one side has that that the other does not, meaning there are no special bonuses at all.

Just wanting to know from those who know anything if any of the sides have bonuses.

Also I would like to know what side people are going to privateer for.

Both french first.

No there currently arent any bonuses for being on either side (ex. french=faster ship spanish=stronger ammo). There has been no talk of this but it might come to the game int he future no one knows.

Yeah well its me here again. I think I would prefer the spanish. I have no reason but the spanish seems to appeal to me more.

we are deciding this in a poll on our guild site, but so far it looks like English Pirates may be joining the French bar a last minute burst of voting for the Spanish lol

That would be a great add on to the svs. Be able to add bonuses to your trip.

French because more people are doing spanish from what I see.
Less people on the french side means more of a challenge.
I like a challenge.

Viva le France. The French are more 'powerful' if you will, in modern times,
seeing as Spain was too wimpy to compete in the WORLD WARS!!! During the Napoleonic Era, the French general Napoleon conquered Spain (easily) and the empire had already crumbled.

The Spainish will reclaim the Caribbean! Huzaah

I dont think theres anything for choseing either side so i fight for both

I, Captain Delmaria (Del) Darkskull chose to join the Spanish on many reasons.

1-The French wear powdered wigs.
2-The French eat snails.
3-The French are rude.
4-The French smell weird.
5-Spain is one of the worlds most beautiful countries.
6-We are smart in not entering the World Wars due to the fact any of the countries which did fight in the World Wars suffered in many finicial ways.
7-We have Churros.
8-Are flag makes us look tough.
9-Our Pirate Lord looks like a real Pirate, leaning back in his chair drinking rum.
10-The French Pirate Lord looks like a sissy.
11-We greatly overpower the french
12-The Spanish have a cool tattoo.
I have dozens of more reasons but i am getting tired and you frenchmen do not deserve to hear the rest.
