Privateer assasin glitch !!! Woot !
 

Ok everyone has seen the trip back and forth between avaricia and le porc battling back and forth back and forth right?

Well here is another kicker,Has anyone on the Spanish side had a sneaky suspicion that someone is attacking you and killing you to the point that you cant gain control of your ship and the french sink you?

Well if you have this is why:

It was a lone pirate named Captain Druidblade of the Witchpirates and occasionaly
my partner in crime Aiden Lucius who is my double agent of the witchpirates.

our ships are the Headhunter Hunter(mine) and the Crimson Alatros(his)

I have found a place where i can hide my ship safely and jump ship me and aiden fly around and kill you (yes if you get on an enemy ship you can kill them)

and if you get on a friendly ship you can auto heal thier ship for them ''nice hu''?

<sigh> Actually, it sounds like cheating.

I reckon a few people might think the flying off yer ship glitch isnt as harmless as they thought now.

What seemed to be a fun glitch that caused no problems... what do we think now?
If this is what people are going to do, they need to fix it.

why does everyone always look at things this way in a game about pirating cheating stealing voodoo and so many other bizzare things its no different than jumping to a flag ship but its not easy to do first you have to put your ship somewhere safe then you have to slowly float to other ships.

catching a ship is no easy task and if they drive away you slide right off and hitting someone is even harder and half the time voodoo doll wont attune its not so bad but only the real dedicated ones will succeed.

still pretty harmless if you ask me.

Its harmless to use a glitch to unfairly attack other players in the game?

If your attacking NPCs, etc.. noone cares, as soon as you use it as an unfair advantage over other pirates.. ESPECIALLY in a pvp (or svs) environment, that is cheating.

Why is it that people think its cool to use glitchs and unfair tactics to take advantage of thier opponents?

Its a pirate game all is unfair and i think people like that !!!

Yes, that may be but this is a GAME. And playing unfairly in a game is 100% cheating and plus, it destroys the fun of it.

There are alot of things that real pirates do that will get you banned from this game in a heartbeat if anyone were to repeat them in the game.

Instead of comparing your tactics to the real pirate world (which doesnt apply) why not compare them to what it says in the games terms of service you agreed to upon signing up to play the game?

You may see where some of what your doing applies here as well as in the pirate world that doesnt ACTUALLY apply here.

I just seen this happen tonight. Not happy about it at all. I turned in the bug report and complained too and so will others in my guild. Here is what happened. Crimson Dragon war frigate with the driver named Solomon Darkfury who called us cheaters just because we had the big bounty there was no cheating to get this we play fair and square. Any who so we said ok we will switch sides and get you so we did and we took him out lol. They chased us with a war sloop called Outlaw Revenge. The war frigate had 1/4 hull on it. We are hitting it and their hull goes from red to 100% repaired within seconds. We just keep hitting it and he goes in the yellow and boom again hull goes to 100%.

At this point we are peeved. Call us cheaters then do this. In the end we did get them back and ported so everyone can go to bed with the huge bounty lol. We ported on their territory and was trying to figure out what they did. I told everyone to fill out a bug report. While standing their they send in a gal who is level 35 no guild (She left it so she can check on us lol) She asked us if we where the ones that took the Crimson Dragon out and we tell her yes. Then she asked why we ported. We told her to much lag and bed time. Then we got into them cheating and she says oh yeah how was that. We told her and we all said we are turning it in. She asked how I told her bug report. She got scared lol and left. She did congratulate us on getting the ship in the end though lol.

So to those who do this you a bunch of cheaters. Yes I turned in the bug report along woth the complaint and the Drivers name and his ship too. They where boasting about how their guild is on the top of the leader board now we know why. Have to cheat to get there. Zepper you rock man.

We are pirates and pirates cheat deal with it

ive been baned once for three days for talking about who i am to someone who asked and the e-mail big d sent with the rules says cheating has to do with someone hacking game files not using a glitch, also ive spoken with disney testers in the game itself and they say:

theres nothing wrong with using a glitch only something wrong with hacking game files to go faster or jump higher etc.

and most of the people who would slam me for anything, are the people doing the worse stuff like cell glitching, dont act like i dont know whats going on here i did not grow on a tree.

you know what else is worse the 10 people standing around using the staff over and over and over and over glitching all of us making me skip and lag and OH NO internet connection unexpectedly broken.

oh yeah and the people leaving flames everywhere.

i dont wanna get started pointing fingers but you know who is realy doing harm its not me
like i said i posted this stuff that alone should be respected.
oterwise you would be in the dark on the whole matter!

sorry for making a tiffy but this is bugs barnacles and glitches and if you dont use. a glitch you would not be in here.

i thought you would make it a joinable glitch place for glitch finders and askers
but even people who dont like glitches are in here and thats not fair nothing will change here.

oh and if i realy did something wrong big D would have done something they knew everything ive done on the game and they know what you do to.

oh my im seeing so many people on here that i see daily in the game using these glitches and then reporting people and oh my im speachless i cant believe the denial going on here now i hope they take every single glitch out of the game enjoy the ride !

Big D put most of this stuff in the game on purpose we can never harm others but now you can in ship pvp?

Funny not talking about me cause I do not need to glitch in SVS to take out some ships. Not saying I'm that good that I never go down but the guild I'm in do really well. You feel you have to cheat to play then go ahead its you that has to live with that not me. At least I can say that we did it fair and square no glitching or cheating involved. I have never reported players in the game who cheat except this time so that they can fix it. I can care less what people do to float in the air or play around as undead that's harmless to real people. But when you have to glitch to take on actual players that's wrong.

I should be a hero for finding and posting this stuff after what ive seen in the glitch forum im not that bad thanks for the criticism.

Oh and i can take a person out with a cannon if i hit them thats easier than flying around for 30 min just to kill one person hahahahahahahaha!!!!!

i never heard so much whinin, it a game enjoy it people, i dont use any of the svs glicthes i read about but i dont care if any one else does, and i dont sink that often. so just enjoy the game.

A cheat is still a cheat. Using a glitch for a funny picture is one thing, constantly sinking someone then attacking them on their ship because you are cheating, is still cheating. I'm with zeppers on this one. Get it fixed Disney.

If you were in my Guild, and I knew that you were cheating against other players, I would kick you out of the guild. If you want to do the KH glitch to level, that is one thing because you're not cheating anyone but yourself. But if you use a glitch against another player, then you are cheating yourself, them, and the other players involved.

It says one thing about you: you are a bad player that cannot win without cheating.

If you were good enough to win on your own, you wouldn't need to cheat.

Ok, we need to just wrap this up. Dont want it getting ugly.

Using glitchs is fine as long as they dont:

A. Disrupt other pirates/players game play/enjoyment (this is griefing)
B. Change the outcome of a PvP/SvS match because of providing an unfair advantage (this would be cheating)

Other than that, glitchs are fine, and I encourage all to share them here, and in the special glitch forum.

If they cause problems with the server environment Disney will fix them... and we should want those types of glitchs fixed anyways!

It is a cheat at once this was a funny harmless glitch it affected no one but now now people abuse it and repair friendly ships and kill the crew of enemy thats not right and i agree this glitch must be fixed

EDIT: after reading the last post i agree glitches are fine i use them alot i even use some to help lvl bc it is not affecting anyone else but me however when you use a glitch that affects other players then no that needs to be fixed

*sigh* My opinion is that someone who would cheat just to achive a goal against other players just proves that they are the loser in this case. You must lack self-confindence because I can tell you have to be too scared to actually fight to take out some ships. It's also naive that you're calling yourself a hero when there are people out there who have sunk 100+ ships in a row without any kind of glitch using.

GOD. ok listen. this dosent send the person to jail. they respawn right on the helm of their ship. and it takes like an hour to reach one person, plus. all you have to do is sail away for 1 second and it takes the other person a minute to catch up



god. try this before you hate it. this glich isint that good. its hard to do and inconvenient. id wrather use grape shot.

although i do agree it should be fixed. just stop giving the guy such a hard time

What about to those people that are trying to finish their quests fairly? They have to get 50K hit points without sinking and they are so close to completing it but got sunk by the jerks who thought it would be cool to use this cheat. These quests take a long time and some people do it the right way. If you think these cheats are cool then take them to a quite sever with your buddies that know how to use them and use them on each other. There are tons of people still that do not know this cheat and there are those of us that chose not do this cheat leave us out of it and keep it fair.

you are correct the flying assasin glitch is kinda weak. Now the auto-repair or invisiblity glitch is the one that needs to get fixed immediatly.

i'm not buying the "we are all pirates so we should be able to cheat" load of you know what.

can't wait for that one to be corrected. i'll bet the ones who have been using it won't do SvS any more once their crutch is taken away.

Having seen all the other problems with SvS, this compartively has no impact on the game.

Sure it can happen, and although easy (its not hard at all), its time consuming, and not likely worth the time spent doing it.

My original response merely pointed out the fact that a glitch everyone liked because it was harmless before may need to be fixed now because of its misuse (as a cheat).

Can someone use it to totally diminish someone elses hard work, perhaps. It may prompt devs to address it, but I dont think its that big a deal at this time.

I did not intend on over emphasizing its impact on the game, which appears to be nil.

aye zep, i agree with u, one thing i notice is that every fix and update there seem to be that many new problems. we can always keep knocking this around forever but what good will it really do. just enjoyin the game. lol

its an okay glitch. i was on my friends glitch but i didnt really see the glitch be done.. but some people from my list said glitch is useless ;/

i dont really glitch but this was funny i got both the spanish and french quest i was spanish someone sink me and i got credit for myself sinking. even thow i was working on killing the french. was like double questin ... lol has anyone else seen this
