Aggggh good time as any to do some real pirateing on the high seas. Im gonna save up a lot of gallions and do some shopping cause for now im on basic membership for the next few months and ive got my eye on some ships you can only get in unlimited as well as a few items

I don't know... thats kind of a weak monthly update IMO. How about some new content??? SvS is starting to get stale.

I'm gonna upgrade all the items I have only. Because it said all items bought on unlimited you cant use once you're back to basic. They never said anything about the skills points. Just upgrade all the basic acess skills all the way.

nope it locks those too and the clothes you buy and just about everything else

what about the skills up to the second skill ponts. Like in basic acess you can go to the second point, but you cant get all the allowed skills unlocked. so what if you get them all?

then the other points lock and you cant get their benefit

Ok. But what about the power that is unlockable for basic acess but you can't get to for the voodoo doll? The level 8 power that says is useable for basic acess.

you mean schorch? its not that good of a skill, really. and yes, it would lock. i doubt any basics are going to go as far as get grenades or staff, though. lol lvling up around 20 times in three days would be amazing.

EDIT: wait a second... what if they make more pirates? will they nit be able to access them? is it going to say example: joun gunflint the have then lock or will it delete them and it will say unlimited access only?

nope on clothes tattos jewerly and hair are half off no ships or ammo bags.. also yea we can only hold 4 of each so its a bit pointless i too would have much preferred 4 days for double rep for unlimited...

lol its gonna be hard to lvl up all the way in three days even of straight playing. even the fastest lvling people take about a month or two.

Well I may get unlimited. But most people on Pirates Online are basic acess. :P

Sadly though, they won't let me renew my account with game passes because i am technically not a basic access player anymore.

Not really. Your just likely frequenting the busy places that all the unlimited players avoid.

Most of us dont hang out on Abassa for example, nor do we hang out at the popular island docks with nothing to do... we are off playing the game.

The idea was for new basic players to be able to play as an unlimited player, which they can do. Disney is trying to generate new players, which WOULD get points, as being new. When it comes to existing basic members (already maxed out), it seems obvious to me, that if they have not subscribed by now, chances are giving them MORE for free for awhile wasnt going to change that fact, just prolong thier staying a basic member. Disney was pretty smart.
