Chris is finally 40!
 

My Story:
On October 31st, 2007 after a long night of Trick-Or-Treating :laughks2: i went on VMKF to see whats new and sitting there on the home page was an announcement saying POTCO is now open to all members i immdietly joined and started out as a lvl 1 with a pistol, a cutlass, and a light sloop i leveled alot that night as well as died i played well into the next morning i loved the game so much. Well after a few days of playing i joined a guild called the rat pac i was still a basic "noob" learning my way through but luckily so was everyone else. i wanted unlimited soo badly but i had to wait for my birthday which thankfully was november 17th my parents paid for a full year of unlimited and i wasa founder and unlimited member the first thing i remember doing was buying a frigate LOL ever since i joined the game i wanted a war frigate but didnt have enough money so a frigate suited a well 2nd. well around december i left rat pac and started Dark Destoryers my own guild but it did terrible i was low leveled and too busy lvling my self to run a guild so then on the forums i saw a thread for a guild Bad to the Bonez it seemed like a good guild so i asked to join and i was now a member in around january. from then on that guild helped me get from lvl 20 to 40 i met some great people in that guild and i wouldnt leave for the world. so for the next few months i just leveled getting new treasures new ships new weapons well here i am Lvl 40 now with 3 weapons at 25 on the very last non-school night for me bc tomorrow is a school night.

My Future:
Now that im 40 i will finish the black pearl quest do the boss battle master sailing cannons pistol doll and cutlass once that is achived then i will do minor quests and other little things. Once i completely beat the game my plan is to help people out with quests and leveling mainly guild members but POF members is ok along with random people. Im going to start guides here on POF for anything that i think there needs to be a guide that isnt there to help members out. I will also post alot more helpful stuff and best of all i can now PLAY the game not work on it :).

I would like to thank everyone for helping me from lvl 1 to lvl 40 and beyond and to everyone that came to the party it was a BLAST! Sorry bout the lag but exubia server is pretty much messed up till they re boot the servers LOL.

aww its fine :) honetly i thought we would crash the servers for everyone at the amount of bandwidth we were pullin there between the healing and the staffs and the chatter and just all the people it was like S L O W M O T I O N the whole time LOL

Yes, the Padres beach bash for Chris's 40th made Abassa's busiest areas turn green with envy. I have NEVER seen so many pirates in one place/area at the same time before!!!!

Lots of 40s floating around lately I've noticed.
 

disney needs to advance beyond 40 here soon. It is obvious just looking around that 40s r now everywhere. It just seems like everybody is getting there and there needs to be somewhere else to go. SvS just doesn't do it for a lot of us especially with the assassins glitch which is killing that aspect of the game, no pun intended. There are just soooo many level 40s now and u c them everywhere u look. Sure you can get another pirate and just start over and some choose that avenue but c'mon, getting to 50 shouldn't be that hard and Disney needs to spend less time promoting the game and more time and money on hiring programmers or and creative gamers to get this moving again. Even with python and panda.

yea, im surprised my cp could handle it, there was probally about 20-30 people there, welll sorry to say the picture is pn my other cp which i only get on on the weekends, ill post it as soon as i can and congrats again!

I agree disney needs to make a GAME not a place to do dirty work for some pirates and grind you weapons and thats it bc SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many people are quitting guilds are falling apart at the seams people arent logging on much :( its terrible.

I agree. I just hit 40 and its getting real boring.I have noticed half my guild and friend list is dying in an instant. I have been in 8 guilds and they die in less than a week, i hope it wont happen to BTTB or PIC. The reason i play POTCO is because i have some really good friends there. I dont expect to see myself playing in 1 month.

I agree Chris. Disney has one of the best games ever imo.
 

Their "imagineers" are very talented and created and even the programmers they outsourced, like customer support ( who I realize are not engineers) btw and that should b obvious to tall but at least it wasn't outsourced to India. I am going to create a webpage just for suggestions for Disney to improve this game and make it what it could be.

Now in terms of glitching I have no problem with glitches as long as they don't hurt n e body. The Assassins glitch in PvP sailing is just way out of hand and regretfully I have seen even guildmasters cheat to this extreme just to win against other guilds in "guild wars.

C'mon people, there is no call for that. Play that game as it is intended. I believe, well, I KNOW Disney underestimated the popularity of this game and its success. They are on to something big here but it needs nurturing and tending to in order to make it succeed. Instead big D is off to the next project leaving this one to being dependent on bringing in new players instead of working hard to retain the players they have.

One primary rule in business: It might take years to turn a prospect into a customer but it only takes a second to lose one. (My marketing 201 professor would be proud)
