I have a good amount of gold but i'll be spending the day at tormenta this weekend :)

Why can't they do anything like this at like 10pm or something. These things are always the middle of the day on Saturday when I'm not usually around.... Arrrrrr.....well, at least football started which will keep me home on Sundays to possibly take advantage of these things.

Ah thats awesome! Ive really been changing my look, wasting money. Im sticking to the barbossa look, and this is a great way for me to get all that money back :)

I've been playing a lot more poker lately, to give away gold. (My weakest spot, is hearing someone say they can't afford a war galleon!) Blasting 1,500 Navy Veterans on Kingshead at a time, looking for spades (and finding only 2s and 3s) pumps my gold up too quickly. That, plus all the maiden voyages, keep pushing me back to 65k. http://i476.photobucket.com/albums/r...11_14-8-41.jpg (5th donation this week that I've kept track of.)

So, having played too much poker lately, I want to see what the pot will be, with four pirates raising all the way to "ALL IN" on one poker table during the "double gold." Will the pot be 910,000? Or even 520,000? I'm pretty sure a pot over a half a million would be a new record on POTCO. Anyone want to help me with this? I need two more 65k pirates. (Three more would mean I don't have to try the goofy two-from-one-computer thing.)

(And no, of course I don't care WHO wins it - the problem in the first place, is that I can't sell a light sloop, when I have 65k! So as long as none of my pirates win 1/2 million gold pieces, I'm happy.)

If the pot had 4 real players allin at 65k thats 260k You countin on those AI's riding that out? hehe Sounds like a cool idea. But I passed all me gold along. ;)

Anytime I've won and gone over 65,000 it has just had the message in the chat window saying how much I really won, as it steals the excess gold without any comment. So I'm hopeful we can get it to say at least 520,000.

Cool, i was just thinking of what it says when you try to sell ships and it will put you over the top. :)

Excellent, a better chance to get some more gold. Maybe this will open up my chance of getting my third War Frigate!

Right - annoying as heck that I can't sell a light sloop, because the 50GP would put me over the max. Particularly annoying at race time when I want to swap the light galleon for light sloop (or vice-a-versa.)

Never mind. It didn't give double gold at poker! Nor at blackjack. The only shots I got at a colossus, were just from a frigate (so only two at a time.) Sigh. Didn't even break my previous plunder record.
