Fastest to Level 40?
What do you all think is fast to level 40?
I have only been months and quilded with a group of established players so I haven't seen any newer guys get to 40 first hand. Do you think it can be done in terms of days/weeks or months? Start to level 40" What about start to master all skills? |
I have seen players do it in less that 4 weeks... though the conditions for every moment they played (large crews always for big bonus, weapons levelling as much as possible without storylines using the Hi REP Techniques, obviously 4-6 hours at least available playing time every day).
The average player knowing REP Skills and playing moderately (1-3 hours a day / 4-5 days a week) can do one in 2 1/2 to 4 months. The average player NOT using REP Skills to their fullest will need 5 possibly 6 months. |
aye lots of lvlin weapons and doing the quest. been playin 9 month and have 4= 40, spend a lot of time in the game.
|
7 months of play, and I have 2 level 40s, one fully mastered, and another darn close.
2 level 35+'s, a level 25 (and a few baby pirates i never use). I play alot in the evenings, but have taken it more slowly this last month. Taking that into consideration, i'd say Maximvs is pretty close. :) |
I'm level 38 and almost to 10k, but its hard to get rep cuz 5/6 of my weapons are mastered.

You can't get anymore rep for a weapon you have mastered.

Took me all summer.
My friend has been playing since the beginning of the game and he is lvl 31 he NEVER levels |
I know it can be done in three weeks, but it also depends what you want in the end. If you want a great end result once you have your level 40, may take a bit longer compared to if you just raced the character as fast as possible to 40.

My first pirate took 11 weks to level 40, and has yet to master nades.
My second pirate took 5 weeks to level 40, and 3 more weeks to master all skills. I average about 2 - 3 hours per day, 7 days per week, but can't say that all that time is productive, darn guild chat can be ...... er,,,,,,, distracting. |
What I do to get to lvl 40 as fast as possible and still have a decent fighting pirate is use the cutlass as much as possible early, putting points on it's strikes, for quicker kills, and just keep at it. The rest of the weapons are generally built for leveling and maxing passives. I can level nades and staff very quickly, so I get those both to lvl 20, and once I'm close to lvl 39, I hit them hard, and usually with at least 1 healer so you get crew points, I can usually get from 39-40 in one day then. Still takes me at least a couple months to lvl 40, because I also spend a lot of time just having fun with a girlfriend, and not leveling at all. So if I really focus'd who knows how fast I could hit 40. I have 2-40's now and close to a 3rd. And another 4 pirates between lvl 30-36.

from level 13-40 couple weeks
|
thanks for the replies. So maybe my thought of 4 weeks is realistic.
My first 40 (stil lshort nades) took 14 weeks I think with limited outside help. Second 40 took 6 weeks has mastered all except sailing and cannons which are 24. I have spent alot of time helping guild mates and working my wife's av to a point where she's not such a wimp.. lol. She went from lvl 9 Friday night to 20 last night. |
I began playing from day 1 and was amung the first to reach a lvl 40, I got it in early December so it was about 4 to 5 weeks, my second and third took longer as I did not push myself, and my 4th will be 40 this weekend at about 5 weeks as well, I could have done this one faster but did not invest the time I would have liked to. Yes if you have the time, 4 weeks is easily a possibility.

It took me about 3 months to get my first character to 40 and then another 2 to master all the weapons
|
I took about a month with my first, coming into the game with no knowledge about technique..but reading alot..listening alot :)
with my second it took me 3 months..mainly because i was in no rush, i already had one master, and basically it was geetting to me, nothing new that i hadnt seen/done before, for a pirate that was gonna be basically pretty much like my last (why no classes?? navy or pirates c'mon...that coulda been cool admittedly) i stayed fully mastered in all weapons at level 38 i believe, since i needed the rest in quests(which was 0%) to even aquire the needed rep to be a 40. and thats pain..i think i finally broke down and spent 2 days blowing through every quest...torture...just to finally say i was DONE. I started a 3rd but then just gave up at around level 24, i was bored of the game and realizing there wasnt gonna be nothing new next time around. congrats to everyone that could do 3-4 though...thats dedication :) i currently dont play pirates anymore, since my acc went to basic and i didnt feel i could grind out another without anything new to see, my friends left, i was fully mastered/quests done/weapons gained/max cash/all ships, didnt wanna do the routine again, and couldnt justify paying anymore when i had everything..did everything, i was basically just logging on to talk with my friends..till they eventually never logged on again. so i made a choice to leave the game behind..never did find anyone who wanted 2 fully mastered pirates as my friends left me too, so all that work and not even being used, id have liked to have given them away before i left but sadly i found no one. i still pop into the forums time to time to see what may be new or just to read here and there, but im happily hooked on another small but growing MMORPG, working on my second "fully leveled" char, its a free game but with premium content (boosters that you can buy to give you double/triple xp per kill etc ) i had fun though in the time i did play :) just looking back..i shoulda never rushed so fast and just enjoyed the game, since when you get there, you sorta realize there isnt much else to do. |
