Curse good or bad?
 

Was The Curse of the Muertos Moon a sucess or complete,uter horrible failure.

I thought it was great. It was fun to see a limited, all-out melee!

Well i dont think it was a success or a great failure... i think im in the middle between those.

other than watching the moon, which was awesome, i thought it was alot of fun. i met alot of of very nice ppl, even after they killed me, lol.

I think it was handled very well.

1--If you're not outside RIGHT when it turns into a full moon, you don't turn into a zombie.
2--If you are, but you don't like it--you go inside or go sailing, and once you come back on dry land, you are no longer a zombie.
3--If ye get whacked, you are no longer a zombie AND no ill effects afterward.

Can't lose.

Me--I was outside, knocked off a couple of people, then got whacked running and screaming like a 6-yo girl with a skinned knee while I had a measely 1 HP left!

It was like the old days of Mayhem. Anybody remember the olden days of Mayhem?

This was fun. Kinda like this: " Hey help me kill this guy so I can kill you!" lol

was a fun time, but gald it just for a short time wouldnt want this all the time in the game.

It was good it could have been a little longer lasting but other than that it was great

That might be bad, but C'mon just 10 minutes? I guess that's all it took though.

I think it would be great for this to happen randomly from now on. It is fun, temporary, and no long-term penalties.

It was only bad for those of us who were a little low on gold.

I thought it was kinda lame. You turned into a skeleton and someone killed you, and that was it. Besides....i either get disconnected or bad lag every time I get turned into one :(

Well, considering how against it I was when they first said what it was going to be, I have to admit, I totally, completely loved it! It was a good chance to get my guild together (and wow, how big we've gotten! Ya never notice it until everyone's on at once) and kick some major booty!

And then there was the running and screaming when I was red, with no tonic, being chased by a mob of very angry people I had sent to jail. But even that was fun!

I do think it was handled very well. It wasn't mass PvP all weekend without end. It was short bursts, it was optional in that you could escape by going indoors, sailing, or even to a quiet island/server during those times, and it was a lot of fun.

I actually hope they do it again sometime!

thought it was a little boring to say..........thought we had to work to get the curse lifted.........getting knocked off is not working for it

Well even though it was short I would still have to say it was good, especially when there were alot of people from POF on padres earlier for the Krewe's party lol.

They should make some of the servers PVP servers (such as a few of the A servers) so we have the choice to do this again sometime when we want to.

I agree, PvP servers that were free fer all would give people something to do, and yes all those peeps from POF at the PvP was fun.

Although I didnt take opportunity to gather my guild, or actually do much with the event itself. I agree with Evie here, that it was handled well. I believe it was a success. Perhaps they should have been a bit more clear from the get go about how the curse would effect us, may have given some of us a better perspective.

Thought it was cool.

All in all it wasn't so bad...although the event could've lasted longer then a scant 10 minutes...plus IMO the option should've been either you wanted to be undead or remain a human, then you stayed that way for the duration of it...either undead or living...

In a way I guess it would be cool like Whiskey said if they made it a random event to keep us on our toes until they come out with the next Chapter which I would guess would be something to do with Jolly Roger...

I agree with Nightwolf. Wasn't too bad, only thing that really wasn't too spiffy was the wait.. 3-4 hours (from one time to another) for 10 minutes. I like the idea of pvp servers but that would bring another round of glitchers who take the fun out pvping.

the wait resembled a waiting line in a disney ride during the busiest day in summer. making the actual curse time the disney ride.
