Bbk - pic svs rematch
 

AHOY mates and mateys!!!!!! Everyone had such fun during the BBK/PIC event that I thought of doing just a rematch on the SvS since PIC really handed it to BBK (yeah yeah i know, PIC won). I pitched the idea to some others about during a rematch and all I heard was AYE AYE AYE. After recieving a PM from Bart to set up the rematch, I decided it was time to get going on the rematch planning. Hope to see everyone there.


WHAT: BBK & PIC SvS rematch

WHEN: January 3, 2009 6:00 p.m. est (5:00 cst; 4:00 mst; 3:00 pst)

WHERE: ? ? ? ? ? ? (server will be named closer to time, yes I do have the server picked)

WHY: B/c BBK and PIC luv to have fun that why

WHO: members of Black Bart's Krewe and Partners in Crime



Just a gentle reminder, this event is for BBK and PIC members ONLY!!!!! The last time this event happened, peeps were bringing their friends to join in. Guys, I am not trying to be rude or hateful, BUT IF THEY ARE NOT BBK OR PIC, THEY CAN NOT PARTAKE IN THE EVENT. THE REASON WHY IS IF TOO MANY PEEPS TP IN, THERE IS TOO MUCH LAG. DON'T ASK IF THEY CAN JOIN IF THEY NOT IN EITHER GUILD!

Sven, yes u whispered the idea for a rematch AFTER I had thought about it....had been thinking about it since the day we had the match........This will become a monthly thing for BBK & PIC.

This looks like a good way to bring in the New Year! And since PIC rum barrels float BBK will supply the rum for a celebration afterwards. See ya in the sea. mwahahahaha!

One problem Li Li...can this be moved to either Sat the 3rd or Sun the 4th?

Friday night at 6pm is a bit early...and in my case as a retail manager I'm usually just leaving work at that time(under normal conditions...this whole month has been long and rather not normal, heh)...

Can't wait! Will we be doing the empty KH tag again?

Lizzy thinks we need to get peeps signed up ahead of time...so's we all know who will be able to attend. After all, it wouldn't be quite fair for one team to be all level 40's whilst the other has guildees of all levels...BTW, I have no problem with holding off to Sat or Sun as Wolfman requests...what about the rest of you?

I'm up for it, but I get off work at 6 EST then 40 minutes of travel. Gotta work on 1/2/09 unfortunately.

I'm good for anytime as long as its in the afternoon. Can't wait to sink-- err, see you all there again ;)

Let's hope we can all attend this time, heheh last time i was helping BBK due to unfair numbers and this time i'd like to sail with my guildies. :D

Rematch BBK v. PIC
 

Well, depending on things here at home, I am a tentative yes on the battle. Sure would like to win one, though, as losing is an expletive in me pirate's vocabulary.

Looks like the PIC's peeps have laid out the gauntlet, so we better make sure the best of BBK are ready to give em a run for their doubloons...

LOL - nice try Lizzy! But work takes a back seat to this. Remember, last time I fought on BBK's side to help even things out also.

This time, in spite of a vicious computer virus which tried to derail me, I'll be there for PIC.

Aye the rematch was fun. Ty Ann and Sven for helping BBK. With the help of the two of you, the teams were pretty even.

Had a little rough start at first, but after a quick port and going over the rules with every one, BBK set out from the French and PIC on the Spanish we went at it 2 ships on 2 ships. It was PIC in the lead for a while but BBK showed their strength and fought back (at one point it was 8 - 3 PIC).

After a few whispers back and forth with Savs, we ported and went 1 ship on 1 ship. After changing it up to a 1 on 1 match, BBK came back with a vengenace. After tying the score at 14 all, BBK pulled ahead to take the lead in the race to 20 (yeah, we were going to 20 sinks).

Fun was had by all with BBK being awarded the win by Savs herself.

Will get the screenies posted from the match (yes i got screenies of the match)

Stay tuned for info for the monthly plans of PIC/BBK SvS match. YES THAT RIGHT WE GOING MONTHLY WITH THE SvS MATCHES.

Was a very enjoyable SvS and a challenge, which I always like to see.

Thank you all for an explosive (lol) event. Lizzy appreciates all that attended and engaged in the activity for both PIC and BBK. And, yes, a special thanks to Andrea & SOS who were gracious and very skillful in aiding BBK. I am disappointed, though, that more Krewe didn't show for the event, but Lizzy understands that real life comes first for everyone. Looking forward to the next one, which after speaking with Ben D, will probably be a mixed match of sorts. BTW...Lizzy actually met 2 forum pirates in character for the first time. So Racket and Edward Edgemenace found out that Lizzy doesn't have 4 paws (hehehe)

I got a few from before it was one on one. I also got a few from one on one. In other words I got them from chaos to order. I even got my downfall...

Dang, can't believe i missed my own event idea! I am hoping to make the next one!

those are some colorful ship battle shots, ed! That first one looked a bit fatal to yer side, though. ( like, 6 thunder shots flying at the ship at once!!!!!! )

Sry guys to dissappoint u, but i was already IN the planning stages of doing the rematch when i got a pm asking me to set it up. Was working a date for it when i got thrown together. So end of disscussion.

LOL! Last time I checked, it was Li's idea all the way through.

I just have to say that it looks like it was a great time! Wish I could have been there.

As all you mates know, life's very busy for me right now. Between prepping for movement and trying to spend what time I have with my wonderful RL family I pretty much only get on POTCO in the mornings. I've noticed I'm usually fairly alone in my morning escapades too, but every now and again there's a Krewe mate or two online when I am....
