Black Pearl Questing
 

Okay, I'm working on the Black Pearl quest and the part after I prove my loyalty and have to visit Joshamee Gibbs. I can't turn the quest in for some reason. What should I do?

What can you do? You can join the club, though it's not very exclusive, I'm afraid.
Hang in there; I'm sure "they're" working on it.

did you fully complete both quests? you need to defeat 8 soldiers and sink 2 Navy Ships. I had no problem turning in the quest once completed lol.

Ok, do you have a old character made a while back, if so then you are probably out of luck, you need to make a new one, as that task is locked, they did fix it in a update, but you needed to restart chracter to get past it.

I had to myself, only took few hours to get new chracter there and past.

If you have new character, then you will have to join the club 'The i tried cashing in my completed task, but the game character wont take it off me, GRRR!'. And sit there waiting for update to solve it.

Then u may have to restart character and play that task again <groan>.

I can confirm this. Try completing both sub-quests before talking to Gibbs.

Yes if your character is fairly new and you've only tried to hand in one of the sub quests before completing the other, then this cud be case. I would certainly make sure i've completed both and tried to hand in before I would consider doing anything drastic like restarting.

However back at time I did this task it did not help me, i had two characters going, and on first i tried doing one at time, but on second i took both, and completed both before handing in. On both even after completing both tasks, it would not progress.

But that was back then, and i discovered on here, someone saying u will need to restart, so I did, and it was fine after that.

I'm deciding to restart the sub-tasks and do both before talking to Gibbs as Jrm said.
