Complete the Valentine's Quest for new Pirate Effects

Poor old Sid Tackem, he's got his heart set on a pretty lass, the only problem is Sid isn't too smart about affairs of the heart. Maybe you could help? Just visit Erin Amorous inside the Rowdy Rooster on Port Royal and then set sail for adventure (and help ignite a romance) with the new Valentine's Quest! For your efforts, you'll be rewarded by Sid with a Valentine's-themed piece of clothing to add to your Pirate effects.

So, do we know whether the quest is only available through the 16th but can be worked on afterward, or if it can only be attained AND worked on through the 16th? In other words, I have the quest, but do I actually have to complete it by the 16th?

Usually holiday quest NPCs are only around for the time of the quest, so I wouldn't recommend taking any chances on trying to finish it late. :Pirate3:

Have to agree with jack it isnt that difficult 15 minutes tops.

But no mention if 'closet' sizes have been increased... so be careful pirates :)

Well im hoping that it will work liek the other clothes quest where it places it in your inventory no matter how much you have.

The first several people I talked to with the new items, all had full inventories prior to the event, nothing lost from completing it.

Aye, quested items always seemed to populate in your inventory regardless of how many items you had.
The problem in the past, were special items offered in the shops, when trying to purchase items, after the quest items put you well over the current limit.

I did the quest and got the shirt that came with completing it. Now I have five shirt items in my inventory.
I was expecting more than a shirt though. Will be nice when we can hold more items.

Aye, it'll be til the 16th, after that, you'll probably never see the NPC's ever again.

I'm not chancing it...did the quest with test character and 3 of my open characters last night. I'll do my 4th tonight. As Sarah stated in another thread, it takes about 15 minutes to complete the quest. You can obtain all the quest items in Port Royal (skeletons, gators, navy guards and scorpions) and then port back and forth from Port Royal to Tortuga visiting people. That's about it in a nutshell.

It was /flirt central last night...everywhere I went I saw the flirt comments in the open.....pretty funny.

Wow, I only wish they'd keep some Emotes on for a while, rather than take them of after a holiday. (Notice the some, seeing as some emotes bug people like crazy.)
