What does happen if you use your gun on a non dead npc?

Anytime you point at an npc that is not a undead pirate you get that message useing other weapon due to the code but what would happen if you did infact use your gun?

It says to "Keep to the Code Use another Weapon", and even though the circle turns red, if you shoot, nothing happens. No dialog telling you if you hit or missed, dodged or parryed. Nothing happens, except that they attack youu like a disturbed hornets' nest. Have fun. ;)

It doesn't even tell me to keep the code when i do that, but yes, it doesn't do anything to the person, or say if you hit or anything like that.

I wish i cud find some of those cursed coins, the ones that were shown us at end on pistol training.

Cud throw them at enemies or other pirates running around, turn them to skeletons, then fire away.:D

It's been so long since I did pistol quest I don't recall the cursed coins BUT I was out sailing on crew the other night and almost every ship had cursed coins - except when we docked, it just cashed in like normal gold... I wonder if I should have mentioned that in the bug report or if it really doesn't make any difference if we get cursed coin...

Uh uh. That's loot you get fer sinking ships. The cursed coin mumbo jumbo Barbossa spits out at every living thing that comes his way is just lore explaining how ye can PvP.

Ye don't need a 'Cursed Coin' to enter PvP. Just click yer 'Spyglass' button and look for a game (Mayhem is what Barbossa is talking about, I think.) and he was just telling you how you get turned into a skellie fer every match.

The 'Cursed Coin' ye get from ships is just the same as getting 'Crown Jewels'.

Hope I helped.
