Went to Isla Tormenta tonight to see for myself; they're certainly there.
I only got to see one since it killed me before I could see any others :(

Yes, the crew have always been in the Tormenta cave. Scary place til you're about a lev 30, (they do go up to lev 40 in there) and still, bring a healer. ;)

Yea, I hate those guys. Really hard to kill going solo.

those guys should play a bigger role in the game instead of just being there.

I dont understand why POTC never told us about davy jones ive known they have been there for some time now.

Well maybe they're just a hidden treat, there for adventurous people to find until the story sections that include them have been developed and are ready for the game.

maybe so but i still think he should be more involved in the game.

they are there for 195 gold bounty quests and they are in the barbossa's clothing quest line (I think the quest line is called Adoria's family or something) and there is a black pearl quest to dig up the key to davy jone's heart for Andrew Bowdash.(of course the area there is surrounded by mobs lol.) and it ranges from lvl 22-40 (NOTE: The lv 40's in my opinion are easy kill becasue they are grenader's making them only sometimes hurt you and they hurt themselves, they only randomly throw seige charges which hit a lvl 38 for about 180 I believe.)
The hardest mobs there are molusks (around lvl 38) and seabeards (around lvl 36)
NOTE:seabeards have brawl and bladestorm which can dish out a good 500 on a player.:pirate6:

Part of the game's issue is that is set between the 2nd and 3rd movies, if you note that Tia Dalma is still around and Will is not captaining the Flying Dutchman.

Supposedly, they did have a voice actor lay tracks for Davy, but it never materialized - like a lot of things people have seen snippets of.

If anything, Davy would be a Boss and you couldn't kill him - simply because it would destroy the timeline they set up.
