I know I have seen this somewhere but...
I have been searching the threads for a kind of "how to" for taking screenshots to include with my bug reports. I WAS using F9 - used that for a long time with no trouble and suddenly, whenever I hit F9 I get a critical error and the computer shuts down. I have filed reports with mircrosoft but they have no explanation... Here is my question: Is there another way to take a snapshot of the screen without using F9? Thanks for you help! :dancetl6:

Press the button that says "PrtScn". It is to the right of your keyboard, on top.
Then just copy and paste on to Paint or something. |
Yep, crimsonDOOM is right.
Hit Print Screen, or on some other keyboards "prt scr". Then go into the Start menu, All Programs, Accessories, Paint, then hit CTRL and V at the same time when in paint to paste the picture into paint. Then edit your picture all you want :) |
thanks - I'll give it a shot!

CTRL + ALT + PRTSCN takes screenshot of selected window only. saves you messing around cutting out backgrouand and desktop.
