According to the website, it now has the bottom for the rating of the game to be Everyone 10+!

Seems like a the appropriate rating for the game. Good choice! :)

So remember, kids! EVERYONE 10 and up! That means little 5th or 6th graders are
playing. So no hogging the islands. >_<

Well lets see. 13 year olds will be in 8th grade for all year, and kids will turn 13 in 7th grade. 12 is 6/7, 11 is 5/6, 10 is 4/5

So it will be little 4th and 5th graders..plus those little kids who lie about their age.

Especially Cuba!

That would be expected from them if it has gambeling in it.

but like all good MMO's we come and take over everything hog everyting and drive this little kids away back to the free games out there.. I'm just kidding.. but I know that at least some of you have had an encounter in SWG or WOW with a little 10 year old punk who doesnt know a thing about role playing and just runs around blasting **** and stopping real players from finishing quests lol.. :-)

Yeah, little kids can be annoying, especially when they don't follow orders and just want to mess around. But I guess I can say that about certain grown up pirates too.

E-10 seems to be a good rating.. (not E and not T)

I'm actually surprised it didn't get a T rating. I mean, Gambling, Alcohol Reference, mild violence and mild sexual content.

I think what saved it is it's all mild. Nothing real bad here. However, I don't think many 9 or younger would play this, with all the downloading and passwords.

You never know, a lot of elementary kids are more tech savvy than we were at their age, lol... I'm sure they can deal with the downloading and passwords...

Last time I checked, you had to be 13 and up... but it's been a while since i've looked at the homepage. 10 and up seems more reasonable :)
