Double Rep
 

Here is an odd one to ponder... The other night I was playing with a couple friends... we were out sailing and all of us got a message telling us we had earned a double rep award. For about 5 minutes we were all getting double rep... then just as mystertiously as it came it went. But off and on for about an hour we were all getting really odd rep for what we were sinking...
Granted it was really nice, and having another double rep weekend or a double gold weekend would be really cool to have soon... this was just really odd...

I think the server was esquago... sorry not sure but I am usually on that server...

Has it happened to you again since? That's pretty odd....

I remember last year (08) for the fathers day quest even though I had completed the quest and used up all my double rep, if I had someone on board my ship that was starting the quest and got whatever it was that they needed from a ship, it counted for me too.
I never was able to actually get the double rep again, but maybe something similar happened to you.

Actually, a mate of mine - came across a guy on Esquago with the 2x over his head. Unless it was one of you guys - this might be worth looking into.

Fathers day quest
 

That's just players who saved the Fathers day quest, you can start it but not complete it and then finish it another time and get your 3 hours of double reps later. You can also log out and log in months later and as long as you didn't use up your 3 hours it will still be double reps.
