Updated POF?
 

OK, I just noticed that a few changes have hit POF. I noticed because I now by memory where all the buttons are such as "New Posts", which I use to keep track of the bans. Anyways, I just saw the new button that reads "Balance:" What is that for? To keep track of my donation? My term is over next year and it reads 0.00. And another thing I noticed because my TV is off and there is no sound. It seems that POF has sound now. I listened it through my headphones and had to double check because I wasn't sure. Anyways good job with the improved POF.

I don't know what you mean by sound.. but I see the balance. You can donate from the profile into that also.

Aye, good eye TSC.. didn't catch that. Not hearing anything though. Which button did you click when you heard it?

The "New Posts", "Home", "Forums". One button I just clicked the sound came out. Maybe by clicking your own name?

EDIT: Yes by clicking your name and going to see your own profile gives me sound.

Second Edit: It seems that every two buttons you click do that, because I clicked "New Posts" then this thread and sound came out. And the "Home" Button did it too.

Third Edit: You own profile, "Home", and "New Posts" then a non-activity post create the sound.

Is it perhaps a clicking like sound you're hearing? That's a default sound on my system, happens when I click on any new page, POF or not.

Yeah, the sound is from your browser, not POF.

Nick did add a new plugin where users can now donate money to other users so they can obtain subscriptions.

As seen above: There's a new box added to user profiles for this.

Instead of buying a subscription then having an admin transfer it to your friend, you just directly donate to your friend's account on POF.

NOTE: This isn't fully activated yet.

...in the upper right-hand corner. It reads, Balance $0.00 and when I click it it gives me an option to transfer money for a premium membership.

What is that and how much does it cost? What are the benefits of premium membership? How long does it last? Are there more levels? If so, what are the benefits of those levels?

I looked at the donations page and didn't see anything about premium membership. Any answers (not conjecture) would be appreciated.

I hear a pop-up sound followed by what I can describe as three punches. It only happens here at POF. And only after I go to my profile, Home, and after I click on a post to view.

OK, now I'm really curious. Humor me, go into your sound options on your computer and play the Windows Navigation Sound. Is that what you're hearing? ;)

There are no sounds that come even close to what I heard. I check the built-in sounds, the Garage Band Sounds, and the Soundtrack Pro Sounds and nothing.

OK, I think POF is messing with me now... The Sounds are gone but I get this on the top of my screen when I go to any profile.

Sarah, are you playing tricks on me to drive me insane?

That happens to me too, on any profile.. not just my own. Im also missing the tabs such as- Blogs, Statistics, Pirate Pro 1 & 2, etc. Figure its probably a temporary bug until the Donation feature is up and running properly.

Those tabs were pushed down. But not as tabs rather as boxes.

I went ahead and shut off the new donation box on profiles till Nick gets a chance to fully activate it. This should remove the profile errors everyone is getting.
