Gold Amount limit
 

When toontown stated in their news that they were thinking about getting rid of a bean limit in toontown, almost everyone agreed that it'd be great.

So... wouldn't it be nice if we had no gold limit in pirates? I for one would love to go over 1,000,000 gold pieces. Think of the possibilities we'd have if the gold limit went away. POTCO could make new ships worth 100,000 gold pieces.

I just wanted to know, how many of us here at POF would love to see the gold limit abolished?

I would love it if they did away with the limit too. It kind of sucks when they put limits on something like money, plus they aren't adding anything new to the list of ships we can buy either.

Sounds like a good idea to me.

I highly doubt any real pirates would continue to plunder ships, and their richs if they couldnt keep any of it. What would be the point of putting ones self in harms way if there was nothing to profit?

yup ,i would love to 'cuz i have so so much money and nothin' to do with it.

I don't know why they've put any limits on in the first place (excluding notoriety and weapon caps, and other things that help us in game, like tonics).

Does is matter how many clothes we own, or gold we have? It doesn't give pirates any advantage, it just restricts it and makes the game a little more dull.

Love the idea - but with nothing to buy unless they released a BUNCH of stuff really fast (and give us the holding power to store it all) a 1,000,000 pieces of gold is only as good as the gold I have now... :)

But once they come out with items and storage, then yes, they definitely should be raising that bar :D

I'm with Max here. For now, what's the point, but if they at the same time abolished the limits on clothes, jewelry, and ink, and put in new stuff, sure!

Tomorrow they add ships to buy, and increase our ships slots.

That "Super War Frigate" is 100,000 gold.

You cant buy one until you earn another 35000 gold, and you think gee, ive had to throw away far more gold than that... wish I had that back!!!

All the gold I've wasted now... makes me wanna shed a tear ;)

Its a good point though - if we could save up now for anything big coming - then we could just buy it when it arrives :)
