Normally only US resisdents can join Pirates Online. So i come from germany and i can play it only because i have a creditcard.

I live in the UK and paid by paypal for the first year. Then when I came to renew my annual subs the payment wouldn't go through so I now pay by credit card.

I don't see anywhere on the official website where it says US residents only after all www means world wide web:pirate6:

While the official Pirates site doesn't have a specific place that says "US Customers Only", the specific intention of the current site was simply that. As other users have mentioned, it is possible to pay by using a credit card to make a direct payment to Disney from the Pirates Online site. It is simply a choice of Disney to run a separate server of the game for each country it decides to add, and has been this way with all of their online games so far. The only exception to this is Toontown US and Toontown UK. They share the same game server, but the login and payment servers are different.

Disney has also been working on a UK side of the Pirates site. The site has not been updated in quite some time though and no mention of it has been made since Disney first announced it.

buy a game card if any of stores in UK sell them

If you have a relative in the US, he/she can pay for the game for you. Which would leave you with finding a way to repay the relative.

I have a good friend in Australia who was unable to purchase the game, so I bought her a gift membership and she repaid me via paypal. I must be clear about this though, we are both adults and have been friends for a long time, so I could trust her to pay me back.

Under no circumstances am I suggesting that our younger players offer to pay for accounts for their overseas friends. That is why I specified "If you have a relative.."

And I am completely against players asking or begging their friends to buy an unlimited account for them. I have had complete strangers, who accessed my email via the POF link, beg me to buy them a gift card. (This is why I no longer list my email addie in my profile.)

As far as I know game cards aren't available over here in the UK.
But there are many that pay and play from all over the world so they must all be paying for the game somehow hehe!
