Island Graphics At Sea
 

I was sailing around doin my callecutter quest, sinking EITC, when I passed Padres, it looks like the old pdf from sea. The graphics are awesome, it looks so realistic, guess my complaints of not looking real really payed up! :piratetongueor4: What do you think of the recent graphic upgrades at sea? :piratewheelgo2:

I do love this feature now. The islands from the ship view use to be very bland, just mostly a shape with green or black or brown. Now you can see the trees on all the wild islands and the outlines of the buildings in the towns. Looks more realistic now and I do appreciate that.

However, the islands up close are ugly because textures are missing and disney refuses to add in every detail because of "lag". The fact is, they're too lazy to fix a memory leak and small bugs that affect game play.

I agree that it looks good from far away, but up close it's a disgrace to how good the games' graphics could be.

Disney has been lazy on current gameplay, but that might mean they are working on something new.

In my dad's VAIO, the sea in Pirates looks amazing. Like Mac said, I believe they should triple the polygon count and add more Graphics features in a new high graphics known as HD, while removing the Memory leak of the game engine. In their recent survey, I filled in the memory leak thing to be removed as one of the things I wanted in the others bar. I voted it as my top 3 updates i want. EVERYONE DO THE SAME, WE CAN MAKE A CHANGE lol!

If they remove the memory leak I may just return to the game alot sooner!
