Stuck on Quest
 

I am on the James Pidgeley quest on the 'Steal List of Ships' part. Whenever I go to the Thieves' Den to the desk, it always says 'Nothing Interesting Here' even without the Grunts in the room.

Is it just a bug, or am I going to the wrong place?

Your at the wrong place. It's in tortuga town. From the center of town (part of town made of stone) head towards the beach, at the archway that leads to the beach is a door to your right, pistol shop to your left. You want the door on the right. There's a guard inside and a table with the list.
