It would be cool if POF provided link buttons...
 

for their members to put on their outside social pages, websites, photo albums, etc., better looking than your standard link thingies, and it would be free advertising.:)

Read the terms of service...advertising and links are not allowed, that gets a ban from pof..

I am very familiar with the terms of service, thank you...you must not of read the thread title.."It would be cool....IF..." IF as in 'I wish'...and we all wish for things,,,and sometimes...those wishes come true..lol...

Just a question, do you mean that POF should allow us to advertise other sites, or that we should be able to advertise POF on other sites? It sounded like you wanted to be able to advertise POF on other sites.. just wanted to know if you could clear that up? Sorry if I misread that :)

The actual point of the thread however is something best left for the mods to answer.

...sigh...ok....yes, I wish we could advertise POF, just a POF sponsored, link button though...not a full blown ad or anything, as the choices that are provided by other sites...like web hosts and photo hosts..are pretty lame or boring....thats all...its just a wish for the mods to think about...a button link...not doing it...just wishing for it...as a member putting feedback in the feedback for mods forum....sigh....

Yes, I agree i have wanted many times to advertise POF for a bigger community and more friends to meet.

Thank you for the thought and wanting to draw more users to our site, but we are not interested in affiliates or giving the appearance of being an affiliate at this time with any other website. That's a nice idea and you are welcome to create such a button for his personal use on a website that doesn't mind advertising us there, but it's not something we're interested in providing at this time.
