Release Notes - July 7, 2010

Fixes:

• Fixed a crash caused by flaming barrels in Cannon Defense
• Fixed a bug that caused Invasions to sometimes get stuck
• Fixed the ability to teleport across different Oceans
• Potions are no longer tied to the healing tonics
• Reduced health on all ships except light ships in Cannon Defense
• Fixed several issues caused by teleporting during the tutorial

Known Issues - July 7, 2010

• Ship Repair mini-games remain on screen when playing in a Crew.

• Workaround: The only method to remove this screen is to log out from the Options Menu ('Esc' key or F7). We apologize for this inconvenience and will be providing a fix soon.
• Certain Leaderboard stats are not displaying properly on the web site. We are investigating the cause and will try to resolve this promptly.
• Taking Ghastly Visage potions while in battle may cause your Pirate's animation to freeze.

• Workaround: Drink your potions prior to entering battle with any enemy.

I don't think that is a good workaround. The only time I've experienced this, I used Ghastly Visage, teleported to the other server on Test, then got attacked. Drinking the potion before battle doesn't make a difference, at least when I tried.

Did they just "fixed" the ability as though it was a bug?

I think they meant that when you teleported to a different island it also teleported to a different server.

Now that's a bug I haven't heard of.. well I guess it's good that they are fixing stuff.

Darn! That was fun LOL there was once an Invasion that was stuck on brigade 2, it went on for like 2 hours before moving to the next one. Some people didn't like it, but I loved it, it was like infinite rep!

They reduced the health on cannon defense ships? Well, I guess this means I'll actually be able to get to wave 30 now, instead of wave 24.

Was the invasion freezing thing like the time ther was a pr invasion and the enemies just kept respawning from the field in front of governer's mansion? Or was that some other bug?

It was referring to the bug (after the CD update) whereby you can't teleport to anyone if they aren't on the same server as you (due to a new captain's boarding permission fix). I just checked out, we were able to teleport to friends on other server again.

However..... they still haven't completely dealt with the annoying boarding permission bug!

At least they ARE releasing updates.

Does the "Potions are no longer tied to the healing tonics" mean I can now take a potion and then shortly thereafter take a healing tonic without it telling me it's not finished recharging? Cause that got on my last nerve. LOL.
