Release Notes - August 3, 2010

* Updates:
o Removed new ship types from the Shipwrights. This feature is not ready for release and needs further development.
o Fixed Guild Manager errors related to the recent Guild updates and Veteran class addition.

Well they released the ships earlier but took them off, but it should be like once it gets on test stays on test. :(

If they didn't intend it to be there, they can remove it whenever.. I do hope it gets added again though.

I would hope that POTCO purposely "previewed" the new ships. The alternative would be the development team and production team are having difficulties communicating. Chat system anomalies perhaps?

Hmm... i guess ships will come in the next 2-4 months :)

Too bad new ships was a mistake. Glad fishing looks OK, I'm not to excited at this time.

Anyone find some new Daggers and Throwing Knives? Rumor has it new cloths too. Please post pics I love to get worked up and ready to Farm my favorite bosses and preform whole island sweeps in search of the goods!

They added a new hat to Port Royal, shirt to Tortuga, and pants to Padres (or any combination of that, can't remember). The cost 500 each. No new clothes other than that.

As for daggers, they just have random ones that up your skills. I found one that gave unlimited asp. The only throwing knives I found that I use have an ability to throw 3 daggers at once (a break attack), but it crashes me when I use it.

Give your hopes up again, guys, it looks like it's not ready for test, but it will end up being on test again, someday.

Also, if a phantom was in the new ship classes... well, what does this mean? We'll need to buy a skeleton ship for something? Now wouldn't that be neat.(for like, a spy quest!)

What happens if you did buy one of the new ships? :(

They were most likely removed from your inventory.(I don't know whether or not you received gold back or not, though)

EDIT: I apologize for the false information. According to Speedway Master, he was on someone's ship of the line earlier, and said cannon vision was kind of bad, and there are no rails on the ship so it's easy to fall.

Whether not these ships people bought will be removed is beyond me.

Aye that maybe why they had to take the SOTL out. But very cool for speedway master to go on boy we need some pics. Im guessing jolly roger could be long gone soon because there selling all the undead ships and they have no where to go then shipwrights but not sure if im right im guessing 5%.

Due to the sudden taking-away-of the ships, I smell a reset coming... All of the ships that you bought will be taken away and you will be refunded your money. (Hopefully)

They also changed the swimming motion making it more realistic as well as updated the spinning motion when teleporting.
