Muertos Moon glitch or not?
 

Okay, a guy told a group of us that when he changed undead, right as he started...he teleported to a ship as undead and killed people on board...this was a public ship. He said the crew could do no damage to them . Has anyone else heard of this happening?

You can't teleport when undead - so I doubt the story is true. =)

I highly doubt the credibility of this story unless it was a major glitch or bug that pirates didn't fix almost immediately. But it is most likely not true. When a pirate hits shift to get to the public boats it says something like "Jolly Roger Commands you to attack the island" and will not let you even launch your own ship. So the answer is most likely no and that he was just pulling your leg.

Not necessarily.. With the new updates there is a lot of lag when teleporting to other places, and I have been able to teleport as I am turning into a skeleton. Now the invincibility part, I do question.

Ok, he tp'd to a friend whose boat was open to friends and public...whether svs or reg I don't know...but he tp'd to a person....

He might of used a dingey, did he teleport in front of your pirate and not near a dingy?:bookishfj7:

No he didnt use a dinghy...he tp to a friend of his who was on a boat..and he did it from standing on hill on porc...timing would be key....he wasn't in svs tonite...I was going to ask some questions...I spoke to someone else who claims they tp'd while undead. Of course, no moons today while I was on.....

It wouldn't be invincibility.. programming was changed to allow players to damage/defeat each other during moon on acceptable places....people on a boat were excluded from that permission.


I just figured witnesses would have spread the word...lol....and if it happened, then I would like to know if its a bug, a glitch or a hack.

This is actually true tried it a few mins ago sliced a few people on board a ship and they went NUTS! They ported the boat and the game crashed on me.

:),,,,aye its works....and its been reported. I found some of the first crew it happened to. Really hard to time it tho so its not something everyone can do.

:128:Ok...final word on this as I took a screenshot and witnessed it for myself...finally!!!...I was gunning for someone in svs...the moon was about to change and some tried to beat it and go to land to get ammo...they didn't make it...Yell tp'd back right at change...:rip: Yeah,,,,we tried to wham on him a lil...doesn't work...he could hurt us tho...but, he likes us..lol and left us alone to battle in svs.

LOL...he took a potion while undead on the ship...so he was one intimidating BIG undead dude...on a tiny space where we couldn't damage him.... However...at some point in battle we got hit by maybe a rev. ram or stronger...and the whole crew crashed...except for me on repairs...they finally returned and we ruled!!...so there ya go!!:witch:

It was funny when I teleported to the boat they when all crazy! :laugh:
