What the... Disney listened?!
 

A few days ago, I sent feedback to Disney. I said, "I'm having a hard time getting good drops. Every Skull Chest I get is no good. Could you improve this?" (Paraphrasing). Now, I'm noticing MUCH more common loot, and the drops are better. Maybe this was the mystery update from the other day? If so, I don't ask much in return, just your worship and undying gratitude. :laughks2:

I don't know, but I haven't gotten a loot skull in a while. Maybe this means they are rarer, but have better loot. That is what we asked for right? Maybe they listened.

I got two skulls in ten minutes of sailing. I'd say they're less rare, but that's just me.

Ive been on the ship most of the day fighting big ships around Padres and I keep getting treasure chests and crates. ....ewe. At least someone is having some luck. Even did tht e treasure fleet and got a crate. What in the world is that about? I have a 6 on trwasure sense and even took a plunder potion. I walked with a whopping 95 gold after sinking the whole treasure fleet. WHAT A WASTE OF MY TIME that was!

It's the 6 treasure sense that's your problem. If you have full Treasure sense, then throw away that Sea Charm. It's just a piece of wood, and breaks your treasure sense. Use a Hasty Cannon ram or something.

well i was at tormenta for a good hour i got 5 skulls and not one rare and a couple commom

i noticed that too! well i was fighting dragoons so maybe not but i got lots of good drops...

Dan, are you serious???? This is INCREDIBLE. I might try doing what you did. Also, I have a weird theory about why the "good" skull chests are actually rare now. What if... there was a number of a certain weapon in the game. For example: There are 2 million Cabin Boy cutlasses in the game. So a rare would have less, a famed would have few, and a legendary, for example, there would be 100 World Eater Blades.

But I could be wrong. There are many "Loot Laws"... sorry for going off subject :P

I think you've had a bit too much rum mate. My luck is still non-existent.

It's just the normal ebbs and flows of the loot system matey, I highly doubt they changed anything. Sometimes we get great loot drops then go dry for a few weeks it happens. My .02
