Recent Updates to the wiki!
 

With the task to catch this wiki up, I thought I would take the suggestion from our new DOW Admin, Mommy 2 Jules, and post updates as they're happening. I thought I would take this one to catch up on all the recent updates, as there have been quite a few:

• Inventory:
  • The inventory system has been re-arranged and started on the main page of the POTCO side!
  • The Cutlass Page has been archived and replaced with a new page, and a list of all available cutlasses has been started. Please help us expand on this list by checking the threads labeled "HELP!" here in the DOW forum!
• Raven's Cove:
  • Raven's Cove has been added to the list of Major Islands on the main page of the POTCO side!
  • The Raven's Cove Characters page has been started! Information will be added to the page is it becomes available.
  • The Raven's Cove Teleportation Quest has been added to the wiki! It is still in need of pictures.
• Minigames:
  • All minigame pages have been added to the main page of the POTCO side!
  • Work has begun on the Ship Repair page, and is near completion!

Also, if you check out the main index of the POTCO side, you'll now notice that each section that has been recently added or updated will be marked as "New!", "Coming Soon!", or "Updated!". This is so that you can see what is being updated and where we have recently added the latest information to the wiki.

Please stay with us as we continue to update and improve the wiki to bring it back up to date with Pirates Online, and remember that we're always interested in your help whether you are an editor or not. Just check out this thread for information on what we currently need!

In all honesty, the main reason we haven't kept the POTCO side of the wiki (just as well near all of the wiki) up to date with the game on a constant basis is lack of support. As of late there have only been three members working on the wiki on a near day to day basis; Sapphire Sweetfeather and Mommy 2 Jules on the Pixie Hollow side, and myself on the POTCO side. The wiki is a community run site and we do support users to help us in the upkeep. Up until quite recently when I returned, no one had been around to constantly update the POTCO side of things, and that is why we were so behind. I have posted numerous "HELP!" threads around the forum in hopes of gaining the needed information to add to the wiki to no luck. :sadmh9:

If anyone would like to help there is an e-mail address to send in applications to. I can't promise that anyone would be accepted (I'm not in charge of such things), but from a personal stand-point I wouldn't mind a few new dependable faces to help keep things moving right along. Turns out I do actually have to sleep after around 17 hours or so. :smiley-technik013:

Would i be known as a dependable face? i can help run things on weekends but thats about it

Sent in my application. I'm also going to try to post a cargo load of screenshots of weapons and other articles that I have laying around in my inventory on the Inventory/Drop thread later today. So, fire up that cropping machine :knife:

I have accesss to a site that has all wepons profiles every weapon has been found i do believe Dark Abyss was fine sword found...

It's actually preferred that any information you have to add to the wiki was obtained by yourself from the game. We would rather not take the credit for information gained by others. Just as well, I should also go ahead and point out that we do not like to use information from the Phase Files either, as there can be features in the files that can change or never be placed in the final game. :mickeypiratezd4:
