I tried this same feat back many, many moons ago. Back when I was just a mere swashbuckler in this ocean of pirates and plunderers. Safe to say, it failed, miserably. :laughks2:

However, I'm always willing to try at it. However, we should try to shoot for 1. A day for where a lot of people can come on, like a weekend, or a vacation day. 2. A 1 to 2 hour time frame, to centralize exactly when people should log on.

Just wait for spring break its going to be packed.

Even better, winter break. Its an even closer time. I would be glad to try this out. We probably will fail miserably! But its worth a shot, aye?

Instead of January 5th, may I suggest a time a few days before Christmas, when post players are on winter break? Either way, its your choice. Just want to make suggestions.

no lol....the only things that will be packed in spring break are the beaches and vacation spots.

ok so the plan is simple we get as many people on from the game preferably people you know well from the game. then we have every one log in at a certain time then we will most likely beat the record. and if possible and i know it very well might not be if one of the mods could tell us how many active members are currently on the forums to see if it is even possible to beat this record with the current number of members. active members being defined as a member of this site that have posted on this site within the last two weeks. also if it is not possible to tell us this number then could someone tell us if the site has enough active members as defined above to beat the current record.

There is a reason why i said Jan 5th Winter break most people at are at home relaxing not playing on the computer. Exactly my point ;)
