Black Ops Just came out!!

I just got it yesterday and it's amazing. I like the mix of Modern and WWII era guns and although I have barely started it, the campaign is so far amazing. So far my favorite online mode is Demolition and my weapon of choice is the M16 with Red Dot and Extended Mags with a launcher as the secondary. I really enjoy Combat training because I just feel like a Juggernaut running through AI with my LMG and then earning a Chopper Gunner to wipe out 20 more. Also I like Combat training because it's like a place to test out guns and kill streaks and anything that suits you.

Sorry for the double post, but I needed to bump this thread. Also if anyone hasn't figured out how to unlock the other 2 zombie maps, "Five" and Dead Ops Arcade then here's a tutorial.

1. Go to Main Menu.
2. Look down at your hands. ( IN GAME )
3. Rapidly press the left and right triggers.
4. Go behind the chair to the computer and hold down whatever it tells you ( X for Xbox ) to access the computer.
5. Type in on the computer 3ARC UNLOCK and then click ENTER.
6. Go to zombie mode and select either one of the maps.
7. ????
8. PROFIT :D

Online play is pretty wicked. Boy am I a master at those tomahawks.... As well as the ballistic knives...

CODBO is my first shooter game, ever. I was very... cautious when I bought the game. I wasn't sure if I would like it or not, and I only played one COD for about an hour with a friend beforehand. COD3 seemed ok to me, but a lot of people I know started buying the game, and one of the reasons I buy a game is for online play. I figured a few million people would buy the game, and they did, so I never have problems getting into an online match with people.

The campaign was fun, and at about 8 hours it was only short 3 extra hours that I played for each of the sly cooper games. I have to admit, though, online is tough sometimes, which makes it so fun.

Ah... You've been missing out. The First-Person Shooter is my favorite genre for a reason. I you have X360, I would recommend the Halo series as well. If PS3, Killzone is cool. Good controls and the like. Also, if you are in the market for EPIC 256 player multiplayer, I'd say MAG. It's fun and chaotic, and is a nice change from the other First Person Shooters, in which you have superhuman abilities...

I agree with Witch Doctor, the FPS genre is so broad and always expanding. I nevered played Killzone myself, but watched it being played and it's pretty good. I've never played MAG, but I heard a lot about it and read the reviews and although it has a large about of players in a match people have said it's extremely laggy even with Sony's superior servers. Halo in my opinion basically invented the FPS genre and continues to revamp it and improve it.

Haha, I play black ops too!... but for the Wii! Wii is like xbox live without the inappropriate kids.. :)

That reminds me. I need to catch up on COD! Saw at the grocrey store the otherday it was like $50 bucks!

Technically, Doom invented it. However, Halo set the bar. They do say that CoD might fulfill an almost 10 year old prophecy... Can it be the Halo Killer? Well, it is creating stiff competition and *might* just beat it with it's next release. Many Halo players are slowly going to CoD now that Bungie backed out. Anyways, back on topic. It seems all of my Xbox Live friends are on Black Ops, owning zombies on Five and such. I have to say, it's one of my favorite games of all time, competing with Halo 1 and 2. So, I'm just gonna go play a few matches right now...:tg20:

Black Ops is really good, I say best COD to date. However, it's still not the best FPS.

My favoret FPS has to be MAG, it's fun if you have a good internet connection. Also GoldenEye 007 for Wii is really good... But nothing can beat the original GoldenEye for N64.

I do like the Zombie Mode on it though, it's really fun ( Stupid Evil Teddy Bear >.< )

zomg, today i went to game stop to got try it Black Ops out,(you know how thats possible? this is because they have game stations and games to try out there.) so THATS how i know is the best game ever. Anyway, i played the first campaign mission, which i beat in lets say, 1 minute xD. Then zombie mode. Zombie mode is awesome. It has me ADDICTED to it. I then had too leave because i had too go with my little cousin, whom "had to" get the new nerf gun. Anyway, my christmas present too myself will be Black Ops and a PS3. I already have Xbox 360, though.

ITS STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i played it but its not fun

I'm jealous of anyone who got Hardened or Prestige editions because I'm dying to play some Der Reise and no one seems to want to go play WaW with me. I hope they release the old maps in a DLC pack for Black Ops instead of making everyone go get Hardened/Prestige.
