Rules are meant to be broken?

Well, I was looking at our wonderful wiki guide here on this site, when something caught my eye under the rules for naming your pirate.

Quote:

No names with titles already in them. For example: Captain Anne, Mr. Smith
Now how many people have you seen named Captain <insert random name here>?

I'm assuming this is copied from the site, so its not really the wiki's fault, but I found it there, so I'm guessing it is appropriate to post here?

Well i've contacted disney many times... but they are just being stupid as usual.

Disney has never followed this guideline themselves, naming their host GM characters "Captain." It doesn't sound like a problem though, they most likely forgot to remove this guideline as they let us name characters "captain" and such.

I seen Captian used before! Wonder why they declined it.

Well being a Captain myself... as long as they don't do anything crazy like change it, I don't care... it is interesting though...

Let me remind yall, that you can't capalize any words, because they are already in caps! LOL. If you type "jacob smith", it will be turned into JACOB SMITH. (With the first letter being bigger than the others)

Hope this helps!

The wiki is merely repeating what Disney published. It's not the wiki's fault if Disney doesn't follow their own rules. How many Blackbeards are there? Considering that you weren't supposed to have historical pirate names.

Anne Bonny
Mary Read
Jack Rackham
Morgan
Edward Teach
etc
