To Revive a mockingbird
This was also on my blog, but I decided to use it for other purposes. I like italics.
The Resurrection Saga Introduction It is the law of nature that inanimate objects are not allowed to move, unless powered by something. Sand, the minuscule bits of rock that make up beaches, qualifies as one of those objects. So onlookers, had there been any, would be very confused to see the sand not only shifting, but bursting up briefly. And yelling. There was lots of yelling. Suddenly, there was a head on the sand. one belonging to a face that did not look too happy. It's head was covered in a sea blue bandana... Then the head popped back under the surface of the sand. Boom. The sand erupted, flying everywhere, carried by the wind. Standing there was a man. A man who, six years ago, was buried upon this island, the one he was born on. A few months before the burial, tears might have been shed. But in the final days of this mans life, he had acted upon such stupidity, such ignorance... That the gods decided he couldn't end out on such a foul note. This is the story of Jack Sharkbane. The man who screwed up, and didn't live to tell the tale. This is the tale of the life of Jack Sharkbane, and a quest for redemption. I leave the stage to him. ~~~~~~~~~~~ |
By the Way, this is the introduction to The Resurrection Saga.
