Will it close at night?
 

I'm wondering if Pirates will close at 10 (pacific) 1 (eastern) ... I hope not, I'd be cool if it stayed open 24/7, unlike VMK. Post your thoughts and opinions. ;)

Probably it will run 24/7, except for downtime during maintenance and updates.
That's the way that Toontown Online has run all along, and PotCO is run by the same bunch.

VMK closes at night because nobody can moderate it at those hours. Since PotCO uses the Speedchat, it won't have that problem.

I highly doubt it matey.

But we have no proof that the whole game will use Speed Chat.

I have heard free roam chat, but will probobly block out cuss words, so we can play any time.

I highly doubt it will close. Maybe for updates and server fixes. But not just to close it.
There will be a ton of people playing this game. From all around the world. So i don't think this game will close. But this was a good thread. :)

I am thinking the same thing. The game really seems similar to TT.

As stated above, I highly doubt the game will ever close. Most big massive multiplayer online games are open all day long except to matience, and they still mamange to have a few devs monitoring the night shift. Also, considering that this game looks like it will be teen, I'm sure their will be open chat, with a few words that can be blurred out.

As what most people have said. I think it will be open because I think it will be a HUGE game all around the world for people to play. With different times around the world, they would have to stay open. Unlike VMK because its just for the U.S. so they can close it at a good time.
