John Smith- Rebuilding the ship

Oh my gosh...

If I have to sink any more ships I might kill John Smith, on accident, of course.

This is driving me crazy! I can't sink ships anymore! I'd take a level 25 guard any day over sinking this many ships!

/end frustration

I love sinking ships, especially with my guild mateys :)

Allure 11-13-2007 04:02 AM

Hahaa..Don't get me wrong, sinking ships is fun.

But sinking 30 and then having to sink another 30 and then sink 10 of this and 8 of this etc etc etc...all on the same quest... makes me want to pull my hair out.

Pirate Rose 11-13-2007 06:17 AM

lol yeah been there done that. It wasn't so bad though. It's better than getting all that crab meat for lunch ;)

Peggo 11-13-2007 06:27 AM

Oh great. That's what I have to look forward to? I just started with the nails.
The crab lunch was pretty easy to me.
Sinking ships is far better with a good crew that's for sure.:mickeypiratezd4:

He does like his crabs doesnt he? And, yeah, lots of ships. I think the part I disliked most about that quest, though, was all the sailing back to Driftwood to see John each time. Ughh.

But, at least there's always fair weather for sailing...

Hahaa, true :P

The crab meat was okay...I think I liked that more than sinking ships in the end, there was three over by John Smith I just kept running between as they regenerated, but yea...finding the ships/returning back to John Smith...gets old after awhile ;)

I was surprised at just how many ships you had to sink for that one, I lost count at 110. For you old school toontown fans out there, it puts Little Ole Man to shame!

At least John Smith is the last crew member you have to recruit, always look on the bright side.... lol

True, I cannot tell you how thankful I was to see he was the last one. I was ready to poke my eyeball out with a stick.

And then, on the bright side of poking my eyeball out, I could totally go get a cool eye patch for it :)

LiquidSteel 03-18-2008 10:54 AM

Im in the middle of this quest, and I honestly thought I was stuck in a loop. Im glad I found the forum to discover that its just part of the game. And yes, its driving me crazy too!
