Alright, i'm not sure if this is baloney, something like the EITC guilds thing, or something else...

But, just today, a friend told me this:

TP real quick if you wanna be a pirate lord.

So i came to him. guess what? he made me pirate lord of Padres Del Feugo, the fiery island in the Caribbean sea.
Anyways, he had to go so i didn't know whether this was like the EITC guilds thing, or something else. but another pirate lord told me there was another pirate breathen court, but they all quit. and now there was a new one, and so i'm pirate lord of padres del feugo.

What do you think is going on?

I hope all pirates will be paying taxes to me if you own anything on padres( rum taxes)

But i'll let the POF pirates go :laughks2:

People play games like that all the time. Its probably nothing serious. Its perfectly fine if they want to play like that and use their imaginations. As long as they don't start yelling at people for being on their island, there is no problem.

Well i can just wait and see.

And no, i wont be yelling at people to get off.

Probably just forcing them to give me rum :)

And this brings up an interesting question.... the governor or PR is Swann, Tortuga is a pirate town, so it has no ruler, Cuba is basically ruled by Tia Dalma.... but who controls Padres?

You see, Lord Seaking23, there are certain laws that must be in effect for this to happen, and so many many questions that must be answered. For instance, was this lordship claimed by death of another man? If so, was the death a murder? By these tactics, revenge must be taken appropriately on the murderer before you may appropriately take the throne.

Next up...I must ask, in my new advisory position I have surreptitiously placed myself in, the server in question. Now, if it is an A server, I’m afraid you’ll have to deal with plenty of wars for the land, especially if this is Abassa or Andaba. The lowest servers are just as bad. I certainly hope for your sake, sir, that it was a C server, as those seem to be quietest and most peaceful. If it is not, we have far more to deal with.

Then there is the matter of public opinion. You see, with a pirate in charge, things won’t exactly sway your way. Despite the incredulous amount of piracy in these waters, people still like something resembling democracy (unless you happen to be in Tortuga, and in which case, this argument would be null-in-void). You will more than likely have to deal with public uprising, and since you are a pirate, all sorts of people coming to you with their sorry problems expecting you to feel sympathy, as you were once in their position. Make sure that you do not give in to this, or to the bribes and corruption that you will soon be approached with.

Now, as to this comment...
Sir, I advise you to first warm up to the Crown, THEN you may make your fleet. Due to your lack of public support, you will have very little in the way of supplies, and there are only so many pirates in the sea. After all, if you sink EVERY sink in the sea, there would be nowhere you could pull resources from, now would there?
