Ship Of The Line Coming To Potco???

but will the success of ship of the line rly come to potco???
only time will tell...

but until them who knows???

It was released on test but later removed for purchase. They are still being sailed on the test seas though.

So yes, I believe it will eventually go live.

From what i've heard its coming soon.

Well they have been released on test and some people have it, I'm pretty sure that we know for sure it's coming, mate. Isn't there already a thread about this?

There was. Am I the only one who thinks adding Ships of the Line will only degrade the game?

I am not sure it would degrade the game but I kind of get why you might think so...So many things have been added to POTCO in the past year that have made pirates into super-pirates. Wonder-weapons and potions and revives have completely changed the face of the game. I know that my level 50 test pirate hasn't been knocked-out in nearly 6 months. I spent my last log-in taking out Colossus Flag ships solo with my light sloop. I couldn't have done this a couple of years ago but between my rare cannon ram and my attack level 79 broadsword, it was almost too easy.

To me, a Ship Of The Line is just another way to tilt the advantage back toward the pirates.

And now that I have said that, I still think they're pretty cool and would buy one in a second if they can work out the bugs. :pirate_flag:

The game is way to easy now, with El's weapons, and will be even easier with the SOTL.

NPCs need some sorta advantage of themselfs.... who agrees?

First, My own test charcter has been on, and crewed for some time, The Record Breaking SOTL.

Second, currently guys, you guys think it will become easier, but who knows, enemies also get 'em and become stronger? Just time can tell, mates.

I believe it will eventually be released. But I believe Disney is currently working on trading right now.

It will be released. Not soon. But it will be released. There are just too many bugs in it. Such as running through the door to the captains quarters and falling through the floor ( this happened to me and I sent in a report ).

Well it seems to have been better last I have been on it. Just needs repair spots. Maybe the broadside aim could be improved. But it does have a long wait before it hits live.

Keep in mind that it hasn't technally even hit test yet, so it is still a while before it makes it to live.

The Ship of the Line, in my opinion, needs not repair points. It has strong-enough hull panels to withstand enemy fire for a while, and its 20,000 HP adds to its defense. Plus, it would take an eternity to repair the hull panels.

I do believe it will come eventually. There have already been many changes since its first appearance - from the removal of the Navy colors, to the moving of the cannons that were hard to view from. There are only a few things that need tweaking (such as the broken wall) before it will be high time tom release it and the other 5 ships.
