How much help did you have?
 

Well i completed the black pearl story quest about a week ago and was surprised with the ease i had help 2 times through the entire thing once was when i needed a hanky from a eitc soldier because i had just got into the game and the second was needing something from a skeleton ship and i kept getting sunk so a friend lent me his ship. So i think it was a warmup story for an intro to the hard ones. so how many times were you helped by friends or asked for help?

I think most people needed help with the EITC hanky and their first skeleton ship, because you're just not high enough level to do it on your own at the time.

Those were the only two things I actually needed help with from another player online. Even Kingshead I and II can be done alone if you don't mind going to jail and having to sail back time after time (hey, it did wonders for my sailing rep!).

Where I really got a ton of help was from this forum when I couldn't find something I was looking for. Especially those things you had to dig for that weren't there the first (or second or third) time you would dig in the right spot. The experiences of other players was invaluable.

I don't know how much help I actually needed. A lot of the stuff I got just by going around with my guild, or helping others.
