Shadow Sorcerors Rank: Hall of Fame

Ahoy everyone! Many of you may have remembered that a little while back, Slouyx posted a little "sneak peek" to our upcoming rank, Hall of Fame. Well, we decided at the meeting that this rank will be incorporated, starting next Saturday!

Here is the way that this rank will work. Our lists of Officers and Veterans should be ONLY for our active ones. Otherwise, they really aren't using their rank to contribute. Hall of Fame is a separate class that is meant for these inactive officers and veterans. If an officer goes inactive, they will be "demoted" to the rank of veteran, and they will be placed in our Hall of Fame. If a veteran goes inactive, they will be "demoted" to the rank of member, placed into Hall of Fame. The reason I have quotes around demoted is because it is not truly a demotion, but more of a move. Hall of Fame is not above or below a certain rank, but it is separate from other ranks... off to the side, you could say.

I will keep track of who is Hall of Fame, probably posting it on our thread with our list of officers.

To sum it up shortly, this rank is for inactive officers and veterans. If the player were to return, then they would receive their former rank back. This Saturday, the 7th, I will be going through our lists and making the proper moves. If you feel that you would like to be moved to HOF due to your own reasons, go ahead and PM me.

If there are any questions, go ahead and post!

Cool update Davy!

It is! But how long do you have to be inactive to go in the hall of fame?

Tiberius Fireskull 05-01-2011 04:22 PM

There really is not set time... I'll say that if the person has been inactive for one to three months, then I'll say that they will be put into hall of fame.

What if someone is going to be inactive but is coming back in about a month?

Slouyx 05-05-2011 01:29 AM

Then they should inform a senior officer, co-guildmaster, or Davy, aye?

SEAKING23 05-05-2011 01:31 AM

Slouyx, i think he was referring to the fact he'll be inactive for a month. He started a thread about it.

Slouyx 05-05-2011 01:34 AM

Therefore - he has informed the guild and since it's a relatively short period of time compared to others. There should be no need for a Hall Of Fame for Christopher/James.
