Anyone seen Dread Scorpions?
 

Doc Grog wants Dread Scorpion eyeballs. I'd like to find some Dread Scorpions, but I'm not having any luck finding them on Tortuga, where I'd seen one in the Thieves Den. Anyone had luck finding these critters elsewhere?

im pretty sure you can find them in tortuga not the graveyard but the other room

They removed the Dread Scorpion from the Wildwoods on Tortuga several weeks ago.

You can still find them on Port Royal in the Wicked Thicket (the jungle past the shipwright). It wasn't very far in there -- just before the log bridge, iirc. I've also encountered them on Rumrunners and Cuthroat Island.

Note: They are nasty creatures that like to hide in the walls, just waitin' to spring out at ya. Have your weapons at the ready!

Go to Rumrunners Island and in the back of the grassy area if you run over where they respawn they show up.

EDIT: Plenty of them on Rumrunner's Isle, just stroll on the green and pretty soon one will be affectionately trying to stab your pirate in the back.
Beware of crabs getting in your line of fire if you draw the dread scorpion near the beach. That got Ned sent to jail once.

I was suprised to find, that no, the Dread Scorpion that was removed from tortuga's wildoods has been replaced once again. This was now just a few days back, so I would assume it happened in one of the last 2 updates.

Well, as of last night, it looks like it's gone again.

Two friends of mine need to kill some, so, since we were already on Tortuga, I led them to the old Dread spawning spot near the pit/nest in Wildwoods. Though we got plenty of giant scorpions to spawn, we didn't turn up a single Dread.

We gave up after about 5 minutes and tp'd to Port Royal, where we had no problem finding them in the Wicked Thicket.
