As you can tell from the title mates, I need help in deciding what kind of laptop to get...... (believe it or not, I've finally found a computer to buy but problem is.... I DON'T KNOW WHAT BRAND TO GET!!!!) If you could tell me what you would get if you were in my shoes (eh.... meant boots :P) it would be much appreciated. Hope to hear from you soon.

personally i enjoy HP. I have had nothing else for at least 10 years.

Macs are expensive, but they are definitely the best, since they usually don't slow down for a very long while and they're just so much simpler. I'm also pretty sure they can't really get viruses due to the type of coding. I would recommend a Mac Book. ;)

Acer laptops for the win.

do NOT get an HP computer they are built to self destruct over time so you have to buy warrenty get a macbook

Dunno, Johnny. I use desktops. But, do know that Mac is much more betters-if you can afford one. I know they cost more which is why I don't have one. The only thing that I have heard with a Mac is that sometimes the updates & things on pirates don't always get applied to Mac. idk for sure though-just what I have gotten thru other ppl. I had HP & it literally died after 3 years-maybe my fault idk. So, now that I have not really helped..umm...How are ya, mate?

:P So far.... doing good... just need to order a new lappy so that I can finally get back to honest pirating... and can someone PLEASE tell me if this new update hit live yet??? Since I've not been on I'm still uncertain whether or not it's true. Thank you for those that posted about what brand they would get above. Hope to be back before college starts up again... :)

If you're looking for a gaming computer, and you've got some cold hard cash, Go to
Alien Ware and buy yourself a laptop.

Before you buy, be sure you check the GRAPHICS processor brand against what your favorite games recommend. Your games will look better and you will not have as many problems. The graphics processor brand should be listed in the machine specs.

Ya,... depending on whether or not you'll be playing online games that aren't Mac compatible, you'll have to face the decision of which type of laptop to get... a Mac, or a PC. Also, another benefit to the Mac is that they make all of their own parts, so you know that they will last long, unlike HP computers. :D If you are also using it for everything else, along with POTCO, I recommend the Mac Book Pro (sadly a little expensive).

I appreciate all the posts so far. As for the rest of ye, I do wonder what YOU would do if you were in ME shoes trying to figure this out. Having a sale today on lappys', so I hope to own one VERY soon...... (Don't worry.... to those I promised rum, ye will get the rum.... and you will need to pay me at least 100,000 gold pieces (pirate I know.... :P) because these were stolen barrels from.. you guessed it.... the Navy, EITC, AND also the infamous Jolly Roger.)
