The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

On November 11 the closest thing that has ever been been to perfection will be released on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. It is called Skyrim. How will you prepare for the 11th? Will you be polishing your Dragon statues in honor of Skyrim, or will you be closing your last Oblivion gate on Oblivion before you play the shear Awesomeness that is Skyrim?

Alright, I totally want this game xD Seen some gameplay and I'm drooling in it's awesomeness.

Skyrim all the way.

I'm getting it when its affordable, though. I don't have $60 just to throw down right now.

Well I got this game for Christmas, and so far it is REALLY epic. I haven't been playing to long but I'm a level 10 and most of my skills are at 15 except for pick pocketing which is level 57.

LOL once a pirate always a pirate aye! Yeah its a cool game, I always tend to go to the darkside in the elder scroll games last time a vampire this time a werewolf .... not sure what that means lol. Anyways a fun game well worth the time

I've had Skyrim since Christmas, and I've already managed to break in to the twenties! My character mainly focuses on Sneaking, Archery (the two of these together make me feel like a god at times) and one-handed skills, though I prefer to dual-wield instead of using a shield because it provides a lot quicker means of chopping down a few foes here and there... plus, I'm not much of a blocker when it comes to fighting :degen:

I'm astounded by how in-depth and immersive this game actually is. Nearly every quest feels as though it was given as much care as the main story line (the majority of them ever surpass the main story lines in quality, in my opinion.) Though, I'm much more of a "go-as-I-please, do-what-I-want" kind of person when it comes to playing, just because it gives me a little more sense of the role-playing field of the game, which is done fantastically. Definitely has earned a spot as one of my favorite video games.

I've had this since November 12th, the day after it came out. I believe I'm level 45 and slightly overpowered :P But unfortunately, I have it for PS3, and the constant freeze have rendered me unable to play it until they patch this bug :/ Which I hope is soon. I haven't played it in a month.

I prefer to use a variety of things. Usually swords or maces, and my bow of course. And every once in a while I'll use my destruction magic. I believe that Bethesda (the developers of The Elder Scrolls games) greatly improved from Oblivion. If any of you have played it, I'm sure you'll agree. Especially when it comes to to AI and NPCs. In Oblivion they seemed very robotic, and the voice acting wasn't as great as I'd hoped, but it was still a great game. In Skyrim they seem like real people. Going around doing their business. And it's great to have more than like, 6 voices. ANYWAYS, the point I'm trying to get to his that I personally believe that Skyrim had no competition when it came to being Game of the Year. It's a great game that deserves to sit at the top.

My roommate got Skyrim at midnight when it came out and that was pretty much the end of me ever seeing him -__- ha

I just got Skyrim a few days ago at half price!! I haven't started playing, because from what I hear this game will ruin all other games for me.

I have had this game for Xbox since Christmas, and I am extremely happy with it. Besides the occasional freezes, this game is perfect. I am level 20 right now. I specialize in two-handed weapons (46) and heavy armor (47). I also have level 70 in smithing. My armor rating is about 120, so I can kill pretty much everything. Right now, I am stuck in two spots. (1) The giant robot that you have to fight when going in to get the Elder Scroll and (2) the WispMother in the Companions quests. Though I have run into a glitch in the gameplay. I am in the middle of a quest in the college which has made one of the characters interested in only one thing. The problem is that I need him for another quest, but he does not want to talk to me, which frustrates me.
