Looking for good guild

Looking for fun active guild that has ventrilo or something along those lines :)

Technically you are not supposed to run any apps in conjunction with POTC Online. Doing so can jeopardize your account as it violates Disney's terms of use.

As for guilds, there are plenty out there that are awesome. You'll find many in the Forum and in game. All depends what you are looking for.

does dueces wild still run and are they recruiting?

I know what it is as I've used it. I'm just sharing some information. Ventrilo or any other VOIP client runs simultaneously and does use resources. Players with older PC's may run into performance issues. It also draws more bandwidth. Pirates Online needs all the resources it can get. It is not recommended you use other applications while running Pirates Online.

Disney's terms of use also state use of any third party software can result in a permanent ban.

As of right now, Dueces has been set "on hold," and thusly is not necessarily open for business.

Although I would not recommend the use of Ventrillo, I can advocate the use of a similar program that is accepted here on the forums more than the other programs, known as Xfire. It has the same scope of Ventrillo, including unmoderated chat rooms and voice chat, and also provides a great opportunity for you being able to take screens and videos inside the game. A large portion of my guild use Xfire as we find it as a great way to speak to one another without the unnecessary censorship of POTCO.

Also, remember that just because a guild doesn't use a chat program, it doesn't mean that it's not for you. Aside from freely chatting, there is no other reason to use a program like Xf or Vent in consideration with POTCO.

I totally understand, thanks for all your replies :)

Many great guilds out in these waters, quite a few will have at least a small group of their members using an external chatting program (Xfire, as Del said, is a big one. I think a few others will use Steam.) Anyway, there are a load of guilds that are on these forums and can all be found in the Guilds and Clans forum, along with the three active Subforum Guilds: Black Bart's Krewe, Partners N Crime, and my own Shadow Sorcerors. Best of luck finding a guild!

i love posting links like a pro.

From what i read, you are looking for a guild? You should do some hunting.

Black Bart's Krewe Black Bart’s Krewe is dedicated to helping both the inexperienced and the experienced player work better together and to increase the enjoyment of playing for all POTCO players, whether Krewe members or not.
Before submitting to join, ye should loook at The Rules

Partners N Crime Partners N Crime is a great guild, we help other mates, have guild events, and much more. Check The Rules

Shadow Sorcerors They are a great guild, who also do events etc etc etc.
Check The Rules

Now, don't JUST look in the Sub-forums, check the Guilds and Clans you will find many good guilds in there.

Happy Plundering.

Now, most the guilds I am in have been said. Now, I am an Officer in Emerald Regiment (http://www.piratesonlineforums.com/f...play.php?f=184, idk how to do that cool "click 'here' thing"), and I'd be glad to give you a code. Just look at the rules, located in our sub-forum (the link above).
I also run a very small guild, that I am hoping to grow bigger. It is called The Pirates Corps, and has mostly 1-15 level members. If you want to help out in a small guild, just ask me.
Like people have said before, look in the Guilds and Clans sections, too.
Hope you find a good guild!

EDIT: Pirates Corps is now not available to join.
