Trade message
 

Tonight I've gone to the shipwright to repair my ship, pay my gold and leave. When I leave I get a message in red letters Trade Timeout!

Has anyone else seen that?

Might there be trading in our future?

It happened to me, too, but after I payed for the repairs, the repair button was still available. So, I'd click it again, my ship still wans't repaired and I'd pay again, then the same thing again. It finally repaired after about the 5th attempt, and then the repair button was no longer available. Each time it didnt repair I would get that message you saw. I just thought it was a bug in the game and that the game recognized it as such with that message.

But maybe you're right, perhaps they're gearing things up for trading soon, and the fact that my ship wasnt repairing was a coincidence. That would be cool. Just had a new person ask me again today where he could go to trade, and he wasnt very happy there when I gave him the answer.

yeah had the same thing happen to me yesterday .. and today i noticed that on more then one occasion i would repair my ship when i returned to the dingy to launch the repairs were not made .. a guildie of mine has had trouble getting ammo the same notice popped up there and she couldnt buy here cannon balls

hope ur right about trading that would be great .. really open up the possiblities

Happened to me also. Trade Timeout. I wouldn't get my hopes up about trading though, as nice as that would be.:piratewheelgo2:

It happened to me all day yesterday, but only when my ship had been sunk. After it had taken almost 1k of my gold and still didn't fix my ship, I switched servers and had no problem.

If I only had minor repairs, I didn't get the message.

Trading items would be cool. The only downside the the gold sellers out there. Once that door is open, POTCO will become yet another gold farming game. :(

Sounds interesting, though I wouldn't get my hopes up for a trading feature any time soon. :vundecided:
