No invasions.
THERE HAVE BEEN NO INVASIONS THIS WEEK. Seriously, it's getting bad. WE LOVE INVASIONS. anybody know why?

No. I don't know why. I know some people don't like them, but i sure do. wish they had them more often.

Are less invasions happening now? I havent been on POTC for a long time and Im back on and I kinda noticed that too. I really hope those don't go away. Those are probably one of my most fav things of the game

I don't think POTCO will be removing invasions any time soon, I just think it just happened to work out this way, because it is random. Maybe there will be a few today, who knows.

I don't do invasions often but it could be because of the Thanksgiving weekend and all the lag that's on the game. Probably a temporary stoppage. Lag and delays have been horrible AGAIN lately.

Welcome Back
The invasions happen every now and then. They tend to alternate with Treasure Fleet and QAR sailing runs. Sometimes they have all three schedule to happen on the same day. I think though, players would love the Curse to come back and just let pirates do some PvP on these islands. I'm sure they would love something like that happen with Privateering as well. Really mix it up some more. Whether they ever will or not, the current Jolly Invasions are bugged. They spawn on the island and not just at sea like they're suppose to. I personally don't mind for them to spawn from the island. Makes things more challenging and forces pirates to actually defend these barricades better, further inland and not just crowd the beach. The problem is that they don't follow the same wave order. Maybe they do in Full servers but not in Ideal or Quiet servers. And Jolly? lol seems to be invincible. We did get him once. There were so many pirates and the lag, as usual, was awful. It's rather funny to see Jolly stand there being attacked by so many. We looked like piranhas furiously taking a chunk of his health as fast as we could and some how I manage to make the final shot to put him away. hahahahahahaaaaa Just gotta love those spontaneous moments. :jackhat: |

I like invasions for the fact of good leveling sometimes, well at least for staffs haha and the fact that I love when our guild would all meet to defend a island on a quiet server it really brings the guild together i think.

I enjoy the invasions more if I remember to put my game on medium resolution before they start. It takes care of a lot of the lag. Graphics are not noticeably worse. It's when you're out sailing that things really start looking cartoon-like. (But then again what else do you expect from Disney.)
But yes, no invasion last night and tonight. Treasure fleets the last three nights running, but no one seems to be going after them. I was the only one to sink a ship of the treasure fleet on two nights running. Depending of course on which server you're on, I guess. Crimson Rose |
