I Can't Take It Anymore!!!!

I am getting pretty ticked at pirates, The people running it seem to HATE me. First, every other time i try to log in, it say something like it couldn't find my pirates and blah blah blah... Second, when it Finally DOES let me in, I click on my character and BOOM. Loading screen. Yeah, YOU may think it's normal, but the thing is, MINE DOES NOT GO AWAY... EVER. At first yeah, it was i couldn't teleport, because if i did #2 would happen. So, i was trapped at padres for a while, no biggy. Then i couldn't go to wild islands, then i couldn't sail, and now this!!!!! I feel like breaking something..... grrrrrr..... :dragonball002: :6864:

Chris 02-24-2008 05:24 PM

ouch >_< i would have to say that the no sailing no wild islands is caused by YOUR vid card the others disney must just hate ya here are some stress relievers i use when im mad at my computer :ss_wtp-ani::smiley-channel.de_g:spam:

I don't know what causes this, but probably is what Chris said.

as you state that you were stuck at padre I presume that it was okay at some point.

I doubt that the issue are caused by graphics cards as it sounds more like a POTC / bandwidth isse. have you tried uninstalling the game completely and then reinstalling it?

if a reinstall doesnt work have you checked out your broadband connection ? as in ran speed tests , disabled any P2P software ete

Yes, make sure if your running a wireless connection you actually have your computer hooked up to the LAN. Thats what Disney said was my problem.

~Mod Note~

Just for future reference, let's keep the smilies to a minimum. Not everyone has the fastest connection, and having a ton of smilies can really slow down someone's computer.

Dukk19, try upgrading your graphics card. Find which card you have then go to your card maker's website and download the update. If it isn't free, sue them.

I had the same problem before my internet connection works fine, but whenever I tried to log onto pirates it said my internet connection was broken ummm hello no it wasnt lol. Anyways turns out one of my antivirus programs was causing it. What antivirus programs do you have?

Just something to rule out...

Norton is a pest for the internet. Try disabling the Firewall.

If it is a firewall causing the issue, don't disable the firewall.

Allow the ports POTCO uses through the firewall.
