Time Zones

Most of the members seem to be on Eastern Time Zone USA.

Are you on a different time zone than Eastern Time?

Please speak up here. I want to get enough from everywhere and match you up with other members to meet in-game.

What Zone are you in and what time of the day are you usually in-game?

CaptainSilver 02-27-2008 02:27 AM

ouch, we just lost a valuable member from the west coast because no one was on at same time.
I sent you two codes.
Stick with us Mate, more will join, and hopefully our friend will come back.

Welcome aboard

Kat, we looked for you after you tried the boss last night on Test! I, and the others had tried friending you, but your list was full. We could not teleport to you without being friends.

Oh I also got booted off too... I use a laptop for the game and I guess laptops and online games are not ment to be. I could edit some of my friends next time I log in since most of them aren't on any more

You might need to set up Port Triggering for your router. That would help strengthen the signal. See this thread on Toontown Central: Fix for Broken Connection.

Would anyone happen to know the ports used for this game?

There is a FAQ in the Technical Support section that mentions ports 80, 443, and 667. HOWEVER, I looked in the log file (as you had said you would do when we were talking in-game), and the last port is really 7667; I don't see any port 667. I also see port 443 as well, but since it is shown in connection with an https url, I'm wondering if this is just for the log-in, and if it is really necessary to trigger, if you don't have a problem logging in.

The information is constantly flowing between your computer and POTCO's servers, so the signal needs to be strong and steady.

Try triggering 7667 first. I know that I always saw that port number appear on the connecting window when the game was still in beta.
