capturing 2 flagships at same time

I was out on a galleon with a small crew, just 3 of us and we were hittin up some flag ships. we got stuck between two of them and happened to get them both down at the same time. we pulled one along side and boarded. after dealing with the navy guys onboard, we went directly to the second ship, which as far as I know, didnt have any lines attached yet. well the ship was going down while we swung to it and we ended up getting thrown in jail.... or I assume anyway, because I've been looking at the jail load screen for the past 20 minutes and still nothing...

is this how its supposed to work? shouldnt we have gone back to our ship first and then had the option to board the second ship?

You'd think this, but really, it's a bug. I once got stuck on another navy ship with the grapple green marks. It sunk, and I went down with it. Try to log out. If not, and you have the taskbar, click the "start" key(on your keyboard) and it will pull you to the normal-non-full screen. If you don't have unlimited access, just X out then try again. No matter what, you will end up in jail.

After you minimize the full-screen, right click it and choose the option "close"

Hope this helps!

yea the whole flagships sinking was annoying but now flagships sinking with crew aboard O_o

Here's something about flagships sinking without you grappling/boarding:

Don't use firebrands! I was out with Jack Ironmalley last night, and somebody used a firebrand on our ship against a flagship. It then sunk, so don't use firebrands on flagships if you plan to board it!

I've never been able to have 2 at the same time. When I get the first, and go after the second, teh first sinks.

Jack's right, it still sinks em. Funny thing about it though, I could've sworn that I read they fixed it somewhere. Until then still remember there ever so hard to figure out workaround...

Now, as to what you've described. It IS a bug as everyone has said. If one flagship is primed to board and you cripple another, the first will sink. ^^

Okay here is the deal with flag ships. By programming you are only allowed 1 flag ship at a time.. What should normaly happen is once you disable one, taking on another one and getting it to grapple phase should sink the first one. This sounds like an amazing rare chance of them both hitting 0 hull at the same time.

Quite funny you saw this.. Gotta be a 1 in 1000 chance. Nother thing to note.. I have seen two ships get grapple notification on the same flag.. If the other ship takes it from you. Disabling a near by flag will sink the first flag ship and the little thief's.. Food for thought for a good laugh.
