Problem Getting Pirates on Windowed Screen

I currently have a problem trying to get POTCO from fullscreen into windowed. I've tried getting it, but it would just be in a windowed screen, but the game would never show back. I would exit out, and I would be back to fullscreen.

So mainly, I can't get into windowed screen. If you could help me, that would be great!
(I have Vista if that is important to know.)

So did anyone figure this one out? Sounds like EXACTLY what I'm experiencing now.

You could try to edit the game_options.txt file and change the number below windowed from 0 to 1, then save. Then, right-click the file and select properties. Check the Read Only attribute and select OK. This might be able to force the game into not being able to change it back. Just a thought. Let me know if it works.

lol i did that i different ay i just minimized it until i taught the game to leave me my task bar idk how i taught the game that but it listened to me

Glad to hear it worked. Just remember that when you want to go back to fullscreen, just change the attribute back, change the 1 back to a 0, and save it again.

I think the other one was to change the gamma settings. I don't know what that is, but it didn't seem to make any difference to my game.
