My Letter to POTCO
 
I just wrote an email to POTCO. So far, after 4 or 5, they haven't responded. It's been almost a month now, so I should be hearing back from them.

a. I asked when my cloth map, authenticity certificate, and crew kit was coming.
b. I asked what would happen if I cancelled my subscription and started back up later, such as: If I can keep my guild, my founder title, my weapons and levels, my friends, my DXD friends, etc.
c. I thanked them in advance for their reply.


If POTCO is acting normal, I should be filling you all in with their reply in June.

a. i bet that is a lot like asking when you will receive a mail in rebate for something.

b. i would venture to guess the answer would be yes. all charachter information is stored on the server and i couldnt imagine they purge the serveres very often.

A. Good luck.

B. If you cancel ur subscription, it will store everything. You go back to a basic member and have nothing past lvl 7. You lose access to doll, dagger (I think), nades and staff. You ships will only consist of a light sloop. If you have founder status, you will also lose this. If and when u decide to start up again as a pay member, you will have access to all stuff again as where u left off.

I want to say something about it all, but the last line killed all things I wanted to say before. :stgrin:

I know what you mean, I've been contacting Tech Support about an issue I'm having with the game. So far they've been good, but the last email I got from them was like 3 weeks ago or so! Disney is a VERY slow responder...

It's also a big company. So they're pretty busy.

I don't know how long you've waited, but just give it some time. <--- E-mail wise. Not packaging. Everyone knows that Disney is slow with packaging. I've never received almost six Toontown Newsletters.

lol yea disney is a HUGE company has many departments and so they probly mix potco shipments with other disney shipments in the distribution center somewhere in cali

Well, from what I've noticed with the other Disney online games I've played, they take a LONG time.

Well, they always get back when it refers to "Why did I get suspended" or anything along the lines of that. Then they go to Feedback Questions etc. Finally, what ever is left.

a. cloth map should be very soon according to the rep i spoke with the 2nd week of march was the deadline.

b. as posted above you weapons and ship will drop to lvl 7, not sure about notoriety but you founders title is safe ( angel your very wrong, unless you mean just ingame but once the account is re-opened it will return) already asked the same question and i was assured it was all safe for up to 6 months after that i can not say.

Yes, they are a big company, and therefore should have a BIG customer service department. If I ran my business the way Disney ran theirs, I would be out of business.

Hope you get a response before June :)

You will keep ur notoriety though. I was told through the grapevine u lose ur founders status. Wasnt positive on it though.

disney is a huge compnay, but the departments are totally seperate and have nothing to do with one another. just because the email goes to disney doesnt mean disney in running the show. they have a whole team of developers that are sub contracted through disney or hired specifically for this game and this game only. i wouldnt expect there to be a lot of time in beteewn emails as has been reported. sony is a huge company but wheni was playing their mmo i would get an email responce within hours if not sooner, or sometimes a gm would come into game and fix the problem within minutes, if it was an ingame issue.

it shouldnt take that long to hear back from the devs, game customer service or a gm. if it is, there is a problem and it is not with disney. as much as i dislike disney, this problem is not thiers.

about the loosing founder status, i dont think that you would. your information is stored in their servers. i dont think they even care enough to change it.
