Oh My Gosh...
 

I get this all the time. Some puny ship (mid class or lower) sees me fighting a Warlord or something and it parks RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE SIDE OF MY SHIP to block my broadsides. It then proceeds to shoot to its heart's desire.

I feel like pulling my hair out. What should I do? I've tried reporting, that rarely works. I've also tried moving - that doesn't work either.

Yea I get that alot too. I start yelling at the other guy to move. If that doesnt work then I try and reverse out of there or something and get on he other side of the enemy ship.

Happy Plundering

1. scream at them in local (ex. "MOVE N00B", or "you have a better chance at getting rep when you go to the side of the ship")
2. uhm... scream at them more
3. position yourself so the ship turns and fires broadsides hitting the light sloop instead of you, then watch as it sinks to the bottom of the ocean AHAHAAHHAHAHA

Easiest fix I have found. After ahhing a high level ship, have crew and yourself teleport off, when enemy gets close enough.. The ship will ag them, since your ship goes away when the last person teleports off (you). Then they are stuck firing at a ship they can't handle and down they go.

LOL I do the same, braodside a ship or have the crew shoot, completly missing, then the leechers will start to fire away and woops, the enemy comes after them!! hehe

Nice trickery there Angel. I just use full sail to get around them. Its maxed for me, so I can get pretty far even if I turn.

If i'm close to shore I anchor, and leave poor little light galleon to the Harbringer!
