Do you have problems starting pirate on a mac running tiger?

Same as the title. My house has two macs. None of the can start the game. both crash and say "xpirates has quit unexpentantly". thay both are powerpc g4. one is 1.42 ghz with 512 mb of ram. the other is 867 mhz with 1.0 gb of ram. it is stupid it used to work before. lucky i have a pc.:degen:
